Thanks for this Scotti and Snake are so overlooked as powerful duo guitarists. They play off each other so well. I saw an interview w/ Snake talking about how much of a fan he is of Scotti's playing, Scotti's solo's are so tasteful
@EverTune I found this channel by accident bc my boyfriend is a huge guitar guy and we have similar taste in music except hard rock bands. So he teaches me about the guitar and me of MY bands. Scotti is an example of excellent guitar playing. I saw him play on the Aerosmith (forum) and Bon Jovi (Irvine Meadows) tours. I was 13 at both. This was MY band. Lol. Great to come full circle. I am so THANKFUL I saw Aerosmith and Skid Row together. I saw at that time in 90 a legendary great rock band share it with a new band entering their prime. I still remember it. My boyfriend loves him some Joe Perry so if he started to badmouth one of my bands I rubbed it in I had seen him twice. Lol. Thanks for letting me share.
The Magic Bus clip that Scotti is referring to was on a UK TV show called ‘Later with Jules Holland’. I saw it when it was first broadcast when I was about 15 and had just started learning, and before I’d heard Skid Row. Pete Townsend with that tele really made an impression on me. It is so cool for me to hear one of my favourite guitar players talk about this.
Great Interview Matt! Scotti seems like such a nice, humble, decent dude, despite having toured the world with huge bands. Being a die-hard Evertune user, I salute your product and Scotti's brilliance in his choice of bridges.
Evertune, please develop a thinner profile, multiscale version of your bridge. Has there even been any developments in the last decade? The system is fantastic but it's a shame you seem to not be refining and providing more options after so much time.
Great Interview. I always liked Scotti Hill's Guitar Playing in Skid Row.
Looking forward to the new Skid Row Record...CHEERS!
