In a darkened room is genuinely one of the greatest solos I've ever heard, Scotti and Snake Sabo are an amazing duo they play off each other and there work is seriously high level guitar playing.
That whole “Slave to the grind” album took the band to the next level of metal! I loved all the Side A tracks! For Side B, “ A Darkened room” and “ Wasted time” were good. Side B was mellower. I loved how the cassette was stuffed with ridiculously long liner notes with complete lyrics and credits. The band was incredibly generous with the liner notes. And nice art! What an honor for Skid Row that both of their guitarists are featured now in Riff Lords. That's really cool
Skid Row is one of those bands that has 2 killer guitar players both play rhythm and lead equally good.
