      The only difference in the Q3+ front versus the standard Q3 is a tread stiffness update to help alleviate tread movement or “squirm” under load.
      Can you guys confirm this?

    Adam, thanks for the review of this tire! I was looking forward to getting some info about these after seeing your recent review of the Michelin Power RS tires. I'm sure you can't go wrong with either, but I'm glad to have your feedback on these. Great content, as usual!

    I have been riding Q3's for several years, now... but I just went thru a set of Pirelli Rosso Corsa's [ a Christmas Gift from my Wonderful Brother!] The Pirelli's were definitely up to my riding skills, but they seemed a bit slippery over 'tar snakes', and the rear burned thru the center much too soon -- even though I do a Lot of leaned over curvy roads and 'go to the edges', I still had plenty of side tread but used up the center.
    So I have just put on my first set of Q3+ and was very pleased with my first day of 'playing in the mountains'. I cannot move around much on my bike, nor 'hang off' and drag knees, because of some permanent physical injuries, but I was still scraping my toes and gobbling up those chicken strips..!! No signs of slippage even with a touch of rear wheel trail braking on some of those curves that change radius...

    grip performance on wet compared to the Batlax S21 hypersport tyres from Bridgestone?

    • @RidersDomain
      @RidersDomain  7 лет назад +3

      Hi KoPan - that's a great question. We haven't ridden those tires in the wet back-to-back so it's hard to say. We also haven't spent anytime on the Battlax S21s in the wet so the jury is still out.

      S21, Q3, Q3+, SP2, PP3, RS10. Curious of the weight of these tire sets also. Thank you!

      Also Rosso Corsa...Last time, Pirelli sort of 'cheated' by putting their "DOT Track Tire" in the mix... (-;

      Hi Liberty DIY - thanks for the note. We'll take your recommendation into consideration. Would be great to see and read a detailed road comparison on these tire options.

      Hi Tom, thanks for the note. Good or bad, it's always nice to hear feedback from viewers like you. These videos are half the story. The other half is in the written article. We encourage you to give it a read for a better understanding of Dunlop's round, black sticky things: www.ridersdomain.com/magazine/motorcycle-gear-reviews/dunlop-sportmax-q3-plus-tire-review/

      Tom; When he does that for Michelin or Pirelli is that an ad for them as well?
