We love our clam tent. Make sure to keep the bolts tighten on the middle panels...they tend to get loosen over the course of several pop-ups

I just came back from a trip down there. My grandparents have land down there. So many places to camp do some Jeeping. Definitely not somewhere you want to stay in the winter!

I like the Clam shelter. I might get one! I have a 16x16 Army frame tent. Great if you have 4 people to set it up and take it down. Sturdy as hell. But too much work! This Clam shelter looks pretty slick!

I’m loving the new set up. Seeing jade in her natural environment is great lol. Now personally I prefer to sleep in a hard, enclosed shell, like a room or a car, but if you prefer the tent that’s great. It definitely helps though not to have an enormous weight on the top of the roof of that little Jeep while off-roading I’m sure.

You mentioned that you enjoy overlanding better than the road trip. You should focus on doing just that. Your continuing travels and frequent posts are great! It makes way more sense to enjoy the off road adventures in the Jeep set-up than the original idea of a 50 state road trip which was so slowly moving anyway. More great footage, drone shots, and more overlanding! Be safe gentlemen!
