The explosion when you dropped the capacitor was a nice touch. 😂
😂😂
As an ex motor sales guy, that capacitor setup is amazing and all HVAC techs should follow suit.
I carry 4 capacitors. Turbo 200, 200x, and their mini in oval and round.
This guys an HVAC actor. He’s not even in the field. That house looks like a set.
As a trainee hvac technician you make it look so simple! The compacitor went bad and you just fixed it like a pro! Please keep making these videos it’s helping me a lot.
Capacitor
Capacitor.
Compacitors are some of the hardest things to diagnose and fix
@Dave Skeet not on a/c's, pretty common.
If you don’t ground the capacitor first you have a problem, ungrounded caps are called flux capacitors, many techs in up in the 1950’s
Glad to see ya back. Enjoy the videos. Hopefully can start making vids once I am healed up. Got my EPA universal and NATE certified while off so looking forward to new adventures.
Hi, there!this is Jermey McGuire. I’m, not a HVAC tech. One thing I’d do if I was a HVAC tech and had a no cooling call.”
I would go check the amps on the blower motor and check the evaporator coil. And the capacitor on the blower motor, and clean the evaporator coil regardless and I also would clean the condenser coil.”
And replace the blower motor if needed and check the wires leading to the thermostat. If needed I would replace the thermostat.”
And I would check the fuses on the disconnect. And check the the contractor and capacitor and check the amps on the condense, that’s what I’d do if I was a HVAC tech. My priority will be getting the costumers air conditioner cooling again, I would go far and beyond the problem with the air conditioner not cooling. That’s my opinion!!
enjoyed this, who ever recorded did a great job. I could read your test equipment and was right there with you. Good job👍
Cool to see you're making videos again, been awhile. Got to love those easy ones.
When you opened that drawer of capacitors, a joyful tear 🥲came to my eye 'Merica...! 🇺🇸
Welcome back, a nice video Zac, i hope they get you to service that A/C system for better performance. Greetings from Australia 👍
The organization is next level my man.. it’s not an old bread truck full of every plumbing & hvac part known to man, but it’s clean…😅
That’s my favorite capacitor brand. Glad to see a post. It’s been a while.
Good video, great to see ya back!
Good to have you back 🎉
glad to see that you didnt just run a cap and go! so many companies and techs will fall into that bad habit and its nice to see someone who really takes pride in the trade and the work that they do. awesome stuff man I really enjoy your content as a newer HVAC technician myself
What does run a cap and go mean? Thanks in advance.
@@blank7958replace the capacitor and peace out
Glad to see you back!
Welcome back man love your videos
Nice to see you back at it brotha. Nice work. 👊
Journeyman 15+ year tech here. Good work. But also, as an outdoors enthusiast with drones and GoPro's, not sure if all yall realize the amount of work it takes to piece videos together like this!
Good video ! Van looks clean. Wondering How you are storing torches , acet , oxy. Nitrogen. Hopefully You can Do another Van Set up Video soon with all the New stuff in it.
My birthday is coming up. Would love an in depth van/shop tour as a gift 😂
That van setup is just too clean 👌🏾
So clean!
Awesome video, sometimes it is what it is. Thanks for posting.
ppl want a 50$ "tune up" from a big company just so they can go and sell them stuff they dont need
You mean companies wanna sell homeowners the $50 tune up to get their foot in the door
ZAck wouldn't touch that thing for 50$ 😂 he carries around capacitors that cost that lol. Quality isn't cheap. You want cheap call handy andy with a pick up see how that goes
Word. That's why you use a company that's small and uses their name. My company is Hoke Keller heating and air.
Cant wait for the next post good stuff brotha.
Truck or van? I'm starting out and stuck on what to pick for my first vehicle. I don't have a garage, and probably will be doing this as a side job during the busy season.
Van would be good to use and protects tools and units from elements.
Truck can be used on the off season for personal use. also can use a trailer.
Nice video Zac! 👊🏻
Good to see I’m not the only one that carries a ton of capacitors
Thank you, very helpful video
Curious if you check inrush amps on each call
Another great video!
I’ve been waiting for a new video man!! Where you been!!
Was that the new shop fully finished in the beginning of the vid. Can’t wait for the tour/setup vid for that
As a wholesaler, just wondering about the field piece equipment you use. Could you give some pros and cons please!
Good to see I’m not the only one that carries a ton of capacitors. (And a Turbo)
Great content! How is the new shop coming along?
You're alive🎉
Looking forward to seeing the Gree Multipro setup
Gotta love those simple calls
do you have a video of this current truck setup? I could of sworn I saw it but now I cant find it.
Bravo, on to the next one.
I have a of subject question. Do a soft start in a HVAC system save on your electric bill.?
Would have also brought up the option of installing a hard start too but love the videos man very informative
Hard starts kits should be last option to be put on a unit. Only as a way to prolong the unit a little longer when a bigger issue is prevalent. That’s how I was taught anyway. I agree with it after doing my own research as well.
Why charge for a blower pull if not needed, like charging for a evap pull? What is your charge?
True, could charge the blower cleaning if it actually needs it. I'm the same way in terms of quality. If it's dirty, I'll take a picture/video and show it to the customer, have them decide.
LRA/ inrush? Sounds like it has a high start up. Start kit/ hard start to prolong the cap life? Just wondering, as I only saw you taking run amps (though I always wait 5 minutes of run time before checking those amps). Would appreciate some clarification.
Welcome back!
New video yes sir! Been too long
Aye! you rocking’ the TRUEWERKS, lessGo!!
Where'd you get the tool drawers in your van?
Amazing van
Dropping that panel on the line set 😂
They're either seized in there and you gotta tug, or they'll just fall out😂
Thank you
21 just pulled my llc what’s your best advice
Thanks !!! ❤
Hey...my compressor and fan won't kick on unless I bang on it with a mallet. Then it turns on and off just fine for a day or so. I've replaced the capicator and contactor. Any ideas?
Amazing 👏
Saludos desde Venezuela.
Hi Zac, I really like the contents you 've been going through in your videos. We 'd like to give away our whole Havc system if you are interested in installing and doing briefly test
What do you film with
This guys shoes looking hella fresh. Do you even HVAC bro?😅
My current situation: Split System HVAC compressor and fan do not operate. Indoor unit and thermostat working properly. Capacitor is new. When I depress the plunger on the relay, they both start. There is no 24v to relay coil. Coil has continuity. Pressure switches have continuity. OF1 & OF2 has continuity. What's left? Could the HK32EA007 Board be bad?
So, oddly enough, I went to the outside unit to check voltages at the board with my DMM. As I checked power to Common at the T1 C C O connector, the Relay Coil energized and the AC has been running fine ever since. Not sure what happened to make it do that?
What brand work pants are those ?
I’m not apart of the trade. In construction management but no idea what your doing. Please explain
Where can I get those pull outs
I myself do not like to tap into the refrigeration system unless needed I use my customer conversation ie was it keeping you comfortable before it went down ? From the electrical issue. I may look into a possibility for the cap failure
There's better ways to read the pressures than to hook up manifolds and holding 3oz/hose. I personally own stubby gauges as well as wireless probes, both are good for checking the charge while loosing an arbitrary amount of refrigerant; which is necessary when working on critically charged systems in refrigeration, like ice machines and reach-ins. You should always check charge though.
New shop tour video soon? :)
It’s tough to get people to spend money on hvac unless it’s an emergency, due to inflation. Extra money is gone on just getting by, it’s like twisting peoples arms to get them to do basic maintenance or recommendations. Our costs which are fair, seem that much more expensive when the budget is tight. But some people are cheap and don’t see the quality and value in our services. I do the same thing, it’s one cost to do a maintenance, which includes everything like you mentioned. It’s simple, honest and straightforward.
Way to go; do it right the first time!
@Martin Heating & Cooling Martin
Since this guy won't reply, would you mind telling us how much to expect to pay for a thorough deep clean like he spoke of?
@@fatbastardwithabeard You should get an estimate in writing from several firms.
Anywhere from $100 to $250
It depends on who is doing it and what they’re doing.
Good luck, hope that helps.
My Boi Got Capacitors On Deck... A-TEN-TION!!!
You didn't discharge the capacitor before checking the ratings?
I was wondering where zack was . Waiting on your new video .
It must kind of suck to have homeowners always think they're being scammed. I know I'm always somewhat suspicious.
Hey you ac mechanics. Those plugs on ttr compressors can make you change a good compressor. Check those plugs 1st.
Keep making vids
Are you using amrad capacitors ?
My company uses them. Are they bad??
My brother that plan sounds great, they’re high to say no
More!!!!!
so those are not extra charges because i always charge for it whether it needs it or not. . . thats why i overcharge on every single callout. . . . . . i am not cheap
/ / / well at least this guy is upfront about his gouging. . . .

Can I ask what you charge for preventative maintenance? Starting up my own gig soon was wondering
Charge what you need for your company to profit for your time, labor, knowledge, and quality of service you provide. Stop worrying about what other people or companies charge.
@@cesarmoore7996 stop worrying about what other people are asking.. and mind your business.. it’s simple..
@@taylorgoodson7229 if you don’t want to hear what others say, don’t leave a post on a public forum. Take what I said to heart, it’s good advice and I’m not trying to insult you
@@cesarmoore7996 we’ll just like you said to me to don’t worry about other people.. take your advice for your self.. just getting a insight on what Tennessee might be charging for maintenance.. here it’s like 170$ a year for one system? Just wanting to know
@@taylorgoodson7229 it’s different for everyone, you only need to worry about charging what makes sense for you and your company to make a profit
Dude where tf have you been??? Started my own shit and was hoping to pull some info
Gotta explain what you doing why your doing it! Plz
Yeah
can I make my own t-shirts, for my friends and for me to resell, greetings from HVAC Indonesia
👍🏿
What's your charge for the maintenence call? I was thinking of doing a price for a service like that as well.
Get a licence first
You don't need a license to fix . Just to install
@@brianvargas5432 too many people like that are out here. Charging $50 for a capacitor and rolling out. Then they go of business in a couple of years. Then another like him comes right behind him.
@@brianvargas5432 In Florida you do, they require a HVAC contractor license
@@brianvargas5432 fixing without a license in Texas; you go to jail.!
American made is the way to go but I would bring up hardstart to keep the performance going and give the compressor extra life…. Just saying.
If people would try to do a little troubleshooting before they call he could save some money
I know how to test and change our my own condenser capacitor, 👍cleaning coils etc.
Most people out there are really dumb when it comes to stuff like this. Had someone call once and said there AC wasn't cooling good, asked if they changed the air filter and they said they didn't know it had one. I get there and it was plugged.
Just replaced my dead cap with that same brand last week. Good stuff
Hmm, something about you screams veteran and you work in mid TN…. Vet or no?? Curious
My company charge 159 for a semi maintenance,279 for a whole system
Can you explain what you are looking for as you are performing each test, how not to zap the piss out of yourself also. Thx
this video was only uploaded to please his sponsors.. 7 min video with 1 min of ads for a capacitor..
This was a decent video. He has done some that were straight infomercials. Glad he is coming back to original stuff. Baby steps
I definitely appreciate/respect the field. However I call once for most things and just follow along and see what you do. That call you probably just rightfully charged $400 I can do for under $50 myself.
Hope folks are smart enough to realize this is an AC repair service company/products promotional video not a video for how to fix AC problems in your home, lol.
Homeowners in general don’t like paying for our HVAC services. I’m in it up in Illinois and will be leaving the industry after 11 years.
How’s it going
Something about this repair seems orchestrated and produced. Please don't tell me that H.V.A.C service calls are fake videos.
Got nothing out of it
Why are most A/C techs such crooks ?
Easy money
How can you trust your pressure and temps if you don't clean the system first. Why not make a video showing how much they change from before and after? I have been shocked how much a difference it makes.
You could talk about what you are doing, instead of just replacing a part and assassassuming everyone knows what you are doing.
What did you do no explanation need some work on presentation
You disappeared
I was glad to see him back up and posting 😎
useless VID
