Thank you, Donald, I was a sophomore in my first year of High School in 1974, Steely Dan was on the air playing hit after hit from Can’t Buy A Thrill, and Countdown To Ecstasy, and then you dropped Pretzel Logic, with “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number” and still you follow with 3 more Katy Lied, The Royal Scam, and Aja, all 6 in 5 years, 1972 to 1977. That was the soundtrack of the 70s, voted the greatest decade of music, how can you argue with that!
Also, the benefits of double tracking. Lines like "But if you have a change of heart" are double- or triple-tracked on the finished recording. It makes a huge difference. And Donald is SO GOOD at double tracking his voice. It's close to superhuman.
