Please exercise. I have lost 93 pounds in 15 months. I didn’t exercise until the last 6 months. I’m so flabby. I wish I had exercise from the beginning. But I have always got my water in, I changed me eating, I try to hit my protein goals and man I sleep like never before. But I wish I had lifted some kind of weight from the start. New people I know your losing and your probably like I don’t like to exercise or I don’t have to because I’m losing. But believe me, you will hit a point that you wished you did.
Hello! Before I started GLP-1 meds I did a lot of research and found that strength training and increased protein will help you not lose so much muscle mass. I started at 268lbs with a BMI of 39. I hardly notice loose skin considering, I lost 62lbs in 6 months. This is huge for me as I was worried about being flabby from walking. I workout at least 5 days a week, drink plenty of water, sleep at least 7hrs, intake about 20g of fiber and 150g of protein and limit sugar/processed food. I hope this helps anyone considering taking GLP-1 meds. God bless you all. ❤
I remember when I weighed 213 in April I thought I was small at 190, Today I’m 148 and I’m still in disbelief! I’m a lifer! I can never go back! 😅 When I started Zepbound back in April I walked daily and I dropped weight quick. I believe you have to change, everything, or you will be doomed to repeat. Huge difference for me between Wegovy and Zepbound. Since I started Zepbound, I have no desire to eat any Haribo Gummie bears. I cleaned out my closet and I bought a lil’ blk dress probably 25 years ago, tages still on it, because someday I’ll look good in it. He said when you do those, add dumbells, so I got 4lb dumbells and couldn't believe I had energy afterwards. I actually also started this to reverse insulin resistance which makes you always tired and causes type 2 diabetes. Muscle burns more calories, even while sleeping too.

🍎🍏 It seems to me that this study is showing that people really need more individualized guidance. What works for one won’t work for another. It can be confusing. I’ll be sticking to what I’ve been doing as I know I need to workout at least 4 days a week. My food has been fairly dialed in for quite some time as I’ve been working on healing my gut for years. The last being SIBO which I’ve been able to finally be rid of. Appetite suppression for me on Zepbound has been good but not stifling. I generally eat 3 times a day and will eat what I portion out for myself and don’t feel hungry after I’m done. I average 1750 calories a day.
🍅 I never eat nothing. It's one meal a day, veggies plus a protein. Protein drink for breakfast. Water (LMNT ❤ & Clean Simple Eats collagen❤️) all day long. Protein drinks for snacks. Tiny bit of dark chocolate occasionally. ❤❤❤ The change in my taste buds means I have no more interest in wine. A great side effect. Almost 30 pounds down. Barre class today. Tomorrow might be Peloton and weights. Meditation in the am helps set the day.!

I am in the travel biz, so was lucky to receive a great discount (including on food) so we ate there two nights in a row. I Delicious! Usually, some menu items might scare me off, but I ate everything on the pre-fixe menu and loved it. Charming place and town.

Zepbound has been a game changer I have lost 30lbs since April but still have 20-25 lbs to go and I have stalled. I recently had my insurance change and they do not cover weight loss meds. I am terrified to gain weight. I was at the highest dose and now I wish my provider did not advance me so fast. I am able to now only afford 5mg a week so I am titrating down. My hunger is definitely coming back and I am fighting it. What are your thoughts on micro dosing and do you think I can still get the weight off with this low dose! 🍏🍎Being now retired, most days are spent in "pajamas " however, clothes size large are fitting better. Wore size 12 black jeans-had gotten to basically needing 16- with a little lycra, and they didn't pinch! I have a walk in closet full of business casual 8-10 size clothes. I want to wear some of them. My goal is 130, but doc set 125. We'll see where I land. Holding at 134.5, currently on compounded tirzepitide 5mg. I have lost inches with some muscle definition! Collar bones and cheeks (face). With all the things and no tirzepitide, it took me a year to go from 165 to 155. Ive lost 17# in 15 weeks. 🙃

I appreciate your information! I My doctor just prescribed Zepbound for me, but my insurance company denied it because my blood pressure is only a little high, and I’m basically only fat (BMI 36). I don’t show enough disease to warrant the prescription. 🙄 I’m 58, and have had a life challenge with my weight. I went to a diet doctor almost 20 years ago, and this info helps me not to go back to my highest weight, but it’s harder now that I’m older. Zepbound is perfect for what I need. I’m 230, because I just lost 4 lbs. I get stuck at 190. So, I’m researching paying on my own. It’s just crazy, the insurance company wants me to be sicker, or just pay for it myself.
This is what I’ve been saying for months that for me it’s is effective because I can eat like a naturally slim person does and weeks I do that I lose more weight you add traditional restrictive dieting to it so keto or vlcd or if and it doesn’t have as much to work with so less effective. I do not have any experience with Wegovy but with Zepbound I just don't want to eat. I have no appetite even after 11 months and a loss of 80 pounds. I have to make myself a 90-gram protein drink each day just to get my protein in since I don't want to eat. I just don't have an appetite. I sometimes think I am hungry, and hunger is not bad, and then I say no I am not hungry, so I am not going to eat. I get in between 900 and 1000 calories a day and this works for me. I used to be in a size 22/24 and now I am in a size 14. And I still have another 25 pounds to lose to get to "normal". Not sure if I want to be normal or not. We will see. I used to be "normal" back in the 80's when I was a nurse in the Air Force. So perhaps being overweight at 160 would be ok with me. I will see in another 25 pounds and then I will have lost 40- percent of my body weight. So surreal thinking about this. I think I look better right now at 180!!! Only time will tell.🍎🍎🍎🍎

I bought some size 12 pants for the first time in 8 years, I kept thinking these won't fit and then I pulled them up and buttoned and killed them easily. This last weekend I had a vendor event and it was going to be at night and cold. So got the long John’s out and pair of pants I know are too big (according to the Tag lol) I hadn’t worn in 4 yrs because they were too tight… and with the thick long John’s on they were loose… I giggled like a school girl lol

Combatting this is going to take a range of tools that won’t work long term alone. Diet and exercise alone do not work long term. GLP alone does not work long term. This is what I’ve been saying for months that for me it’s is effective because I can eat like a naturally slim person does and weeks I do that I lose more weight you add traditional restrictive dieting to it so keto or vlcd or if and it doesn’t have as much to work with so less effective. It is more than simply an appetite suppressant

I do not have any experience with Wegovy but with Zepbound I just don't want to eat. I have no appetite even after 11 months and a loss of 80 pounds. I have to make myself a 90-gram protein drink each day just to get my protein in since I don't want to eat. I just don't have an appetite. I sometimes think I am hungry, and hunger is not bad, and then I say no I am not hungry, so I am not going to eat. I get in between 900 and 1000 calories a day and this works for me.
I used to be in a size 22/24 and now I am in a size 14. And I still have another 25 pounds to lose to get to "normal". Not sure if I want to be normal or not. We will see. I used to be "normal" back in the 80's when I was a nurse in the Air Force. So perhaps being overweight at 160 would be ok with me. I will see in another 25 pounds and then I will have lost 40- percent of my body weight. So surreal thinking about this. I think I look better right now at 180!!! Only time will tell.🍎🍎🍎🍎

This last weekend I had a vendor event and it was going to be at night and cold. So got the long John’s out and pair of pants I know are too big (according to the Tag lol) I hadn’t worn in 4 yrs because they were too tight… and with the thick long John’s on they were loose… I giggled like a school girl lol

I am down 50lbs and I am having a hard time shopping, it's a little overwhelming.
Combatting this is going to take a range of tools that won’t work long term alone. Diet and exercise alone do not work long term. GLP alone does not work long term. Hopefully together, they work long term 🙏. I will be interested to see how this turns out since the effects wear off over time if this is truly a long term team up. 🍎 Adding a steak because really the steak is more helpful to keep the doc away 😁🥩.
