i think this regulation is probably the most of seen the community be wrong in their pre-regional predictions about what will dominate the format. everybody thought caly shadow would be by far the best with caly ice being a distant second. and everyone was putting miraidon and zama in like B tier in their tier lists.

Yeah but because of that everyone prepped for shadow rider which is why it didnt do so well. Now people are looking for zama counters as well as miraidon so I wouldnt be surprised if shadow rider makes an appearance in the near future
I've been experimenting with Specs Miraidon + mostly hard TR aside from that, with Iron Hands, Farigiraf and Hatterene. One of the biggest annoyances to TR teams is Amoongus - but if you have Electric Terrain aleady, it's much less of a concern. Torkoal + Iron Hands handles most current meta threats under TR. I'm not quite happy with how the team plays currently, but I feel like Miraidon + mostly hard TR has a lot of potential. The defense boost from electric seed on Farigiraf alone secures TR setup in a number of cases, especially since the opponents can't easily ignore Miraidon next to it

I ran into a Calm Mind Terapagos, that handled my Iron Hands really well, so they just set up on me and won (That could also just be a skill issue on my end)
And surprisingly... Nothing feels too far out of reach to be doable. But it's probably just a matter of time until I run into something where I have no clue on how to handle it
The key is really Specs Miraidon with Dazzling Gleam + Tera fairy though, it flips a lot of matchups
The Zamazenta team is full of synergy and bulk. The latios is there because what Zam is weak too, latios resists and it is there to deal with the mirror and amoongus, if amoongus doesn't tera it is normally OHKOd or if it does the combination of lister purge and body press removes it.
Really enjoyed looking at that Terapagos team. Ngl seeing that video where you showcased Tinkaton a while back made me want to try some off meta tools. Like I really wanna try out Terapagos with Skeledirge. Like no one’s talking about how the dirge can be a nuisance to Zamazenta and Caly-Ice

Experimenting with Zam, I found the only times I was clicking ID was when I was already winning.
I was often better served just sending damage than reinforcing an already winning position even more.
Wide guard gives you the option to outplay with the rest of the team.
So instead of “protect the queen” by focusing everything on setting up Zam and then sweeping with that, Zam helps the other partners as well (like wide guarding icy wind speed drops).
Other body press users need that first ID to really get going. Because Zam gets the +1, it’s the highest def BP user straight out the gate, no ID needed.
pollen puff also hits dark types and normal/psychic types that like to counter caly S for super effective without needing to do any tera blast fighting shenanigans, people often forget it's 90 bp cuz it's always just support, but for Caly it's really good for offense

I love zamazenta but that team is reaaallly weird i think it requires a lot of things that i dont have (skill) if i dont see a giraffe im not trying it

Pollen Puff Calyrex for the dark types and Tera grass mons is a crazy smart adaptation
I've been running a fast bloodmoon too but i hit 112 and put a little more into bulk because I've got hyper voice throat spray on it too

@@SableyeVGC I mean, welcome to the internet…it’s a valid criticism that might be bothering people and instead of continuing to watch your frankly excellent content, they’ll just click away. If you are unable to take constructive criticism that’s on you.
I mean there are ways to present constructive criticism without sounding like you are attacking someone. Like maybe,
“hey man, liked the vid, maybe try not saying ‘right’ as much tho, could be turning some viewers away”
Instead you chose the path that could be easily misinterpreted as rude/aggressive, even if that wasn’t intended (which is how I took it)
Viewer feedback has helped me mould my channel to what it is today, but if you come at me with this approach, I can’t help but get defensive.
