- Severide endures a massive fall after being the last person in a burning house.
Season 5 Episode 10 "The People We Meet"
Severide is informed that the bone marrow transplant patient is eligible again, but complications arise when Severide is injured after being thrown out of a window during a call. He is unable to donate because he cannot have an epidural for his donation but, despite the complications, forces the donation anyway. Meanwhile, Louie's father fights for full custody of him but Dawson and Casey try to fight back. But after seeing the amount of support on the father's side, Casey and Dawson were left with no choice but to give up Louie. Also, Mouch and Otis create a video encouraging people to join the CFD.

thats the only answer id accept to that question, my daughter once got hut by a falling branch and was in hospital in a coma for 4 months to reduce brain swelling, doctor said "theres good new and bad news" good news was all she had wrong was a skull fracture, and when i asked for the bad news doctor goes "shes going to have to eat hospital food for a few weeks"

@@nycot107 she still could have said like "oh the one on the right/left/in the middle". Pointing doesn't help a whole lot. With the windows being close together and them standing farther away in the street, they easily could have gotten the wrong one.

I've been in a house that was deliberately set on fire. Three in the morning, I was lucky to have my friend with me cos I couldn't find my glasses. The smoke was yellow and really thick. I hope I never experience that again.

I love how every victim gets mini black moustaches
It may not be necessary but I would like to explain why those moustaches are there.
As I am a firefighter myself, not in the US but in The Netherlands. Those moustaches, as you call them ;) are real, I have not seen them often(i live in a small town) neither that severe as displayed here, but they are real.
Because a fire releases carbon particals (carbon is technically coal) into its smoke, which you breathe in, and because most humans have facial hair(yes, even women. At least those who don't eppilate or whatever it is called, hence most humans.) those carbon particles get stuck in those hairs and the skin beneath them due to the 'air' rushing by them into and out of your nostrils. Hence the moustache.
And when you rub your nose you rub from those hairs it into your skin as well, making it even more visible.
There might be a shorter (and more to the point) explanation to why and how, but this is how I understand the manner of why and how it happens. Hope it helped ;)
I remember 1 call where we had multiple vicitims with smoke inhalation and a number of them had a 'moustache', it was a school fire. (Someone had lit up one of those anti bacterial hand alcohol dispensers and a part of the wall and 3 feet(in a circle) of the vinyl floor coating had burnt up. But the entire school was filled with grey smoke)

In the hospital the blonde girl says he has GCS 14, that means 14 in Glascow Coma Scale. That would mean he is concious, able to speak etc. He is clearly unconcious so theres no way he has a GCS 14.
Look up Glasgow coma scale and youll know.
I have been watching Chicago fire since season one, episode one, but i have to admit that i like it even more since season 4 episode 15, when Stella Kidd started in CF, and the romance between Severide and Stella began.
