Honestly, I just hope mirage doesn’t go balls to the walls mythological because “isu” ya know? I’m holding out some hope they’ll keep it grounded within the assassin narrative but I’m prepared for the worst.
i’ve heard on multiple accounts that loki isn’t even really in the game, basim has the nightmares about the “jin” that is loki but who knows how much further it will go than that, i’m really hoping for a minimal amount of isu scenes

Tbh there isn’t much mythology in the Middle East like in other cultures, esp so after Islam rose in the region. So Ubisoft really doesn’t have much to work with on the mythology side and therefore I’d bet good money that they’d abstain from that.
@@whipwalka That's exactly how I feel about it, too. I mean, Precursor Civilization was a brilliant idea. The Isu being remembered as gods culturally even though they weren't was great. ive been training literally this exact same way i hope basim has a good safety roll for high jumps having bayek do a tactical roll after a clean bow kill with the roll is perfect hopefully we all have the same rush with the throwing knifes
there is a roll skill and it is slow and basim rolls sideways, it looks really bad tbh but if you watch dallin_s how to roll in valhalla, he shows how to roll in a quick and smoother fashion. i would recommend watching that vid. i dont play valhalla so i havent gotten to test this but ive seen people do the quicker, smoother roll in the mirage gameplay that released recently using dallin_s strategy.

Mirage is more like Valhalla than Origins, there's more weight and moves are a bit slower. Some animations seem to have been reworked, it looks more realistic somehow (for AC standards)
after seeing the new gameplay it seems like they are on the same level of speed when traversing (imo ofc), and yeah since the 7 min gameplay reveal they have tweaked a couple of the animations to resemble ac1-rev and with the added speed it looks pretty realistic and smooth tbh.
