Netanyahu says war won't end until the elimination of Hamas

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that Israel will not cease its war on Gaza until all its objectives are met. These objectives include the eradication of Hamas and the liberation of all hostages.
Netanyahu's remarks were made in response to a New York Times report, which cited anonymous security sources claiming that the Israeli military leadership favours a truce in Gaza, even if it means Hamas remains in power for the time being.
