I just like it as it’s a 1x12 and I had the amp pretty loud. It is a great cab though and the speaker is well broken in with a rich tone. The Marshall 2x12 would have been good as well but it feels like it’s much louder and the sound isn’t as focussed. To mic it up and sound full I’ve got to have too much volume.

Robs voice on this tour was EAR SPLITTING. I've NEVER heard vocals like that before or since. People were looking at each other like "OMG" when he hit those super high extended notes.
When I heard you talking of this guitar recording technique I remember hearing blizzard of Ozz was recorded this way, with a mic 30’ away from the amp,and sure enough Chris was the first producer for blizzard. Great stuff!

Id like to agree but I don’t think much of the production of Exodus Force of Habbit. That was their most expensive record and the guitars are weak as. Not sure what went wrong there

I seen them on tour supporting that album with Testament and Megadeth opening the show.Of course it was a killer show!
