The first, and last, times I ate at Circus Circus Buffet was on my first trip to Las Vegas in 1991. It’s definitely been remodeled since then; at that time, it was a sort of industrial blue-gray color, and the room itself was similar. The food was extremely basic at that time with dinner time selections including hamburgers and hot dogs. It was both inexpensive, about $9.95 at dinner, and quite cheap in quality. Breakfast was about $5.95 and similarly basic. But, being breakfast, the food selections were of better overall quality than dinner or lunch. Overall, though, what hasn’t changed is that it’s probably the cheapest and most crowded buffet on the strip.
Your comments mirror mine 100%. We tried to make a family trip to Vegas every year from about '87-'93. CC wasn't all that bad then and we ate a few breakfasts there. We actually enjoyed staying in the Manor before they let it run down to being no better than tents in a third world country. My question is how much money have they pulled from that place by making minimal investments for the past 30 years? I mean a family of 4 pays nearly $100 for 4 meals. Profit margin is huge!!

I was cracking up since I am a vegetarian, but I ate there a month ago and I was surprised by all the veggie options they had and it was a good price for someone that doesn't eat meat unlike the other hotels that charge so much but when you don't eat meat I don't like paying a lot for buffet. You can usually tell by the way your fork reacts to the food and your expression, how you really feel about it. I think it’s because you’re holding the camera but your fork becomes a jab jab and even your knife is saying yuck! “ it does have that flavor of canned food” !! Laughing so hard my skeleton is vibrating! Like most comedy it has to come from a sad place. 🤭
This buffet has been known for the cheep quality of food for years. He knew that, he lives in Vegas -lol. It's for people with kids and on a budget. Or those with no taste -haha. Poor Derek!

Circus Circus was the first hotel I ever stayed at in Vegas. That was back in 2006. I didn't go to the buffet (I didn't even know they had a buffet at the time). This buffet looks terrible.
Was just in Vegas this past weekend for Thanksgiving. Didn’t realize how crazy busy Vegas is around this time. Went to the Bellagio buffet and that was ok. Not too impressed. Should have gone to Caesar’s. Thank you for your videos. 😀

I stayed there not very long ago when the Riviera was still around. I was surprised that it was empty when the Circus Circus was still pretty busy. The business didn't trickle down to this once iconic casino. I was just overall glad that I didn't bring bed bugs back home. And ate at Subway.

Looks better than how I remembered it 20 years ago when buffet was $3.99 for breakfast. The eggs were like cottage cheese. Very unappetizing. Today’s prices are double the Silverton Casino buffet and not as good.

Main Street Station's Garden Court Buffet is $13 ($12 with member discount) for the dinner buffet and it is WAY better than this garbage. The steakhouse is the only redeeming eatery in Circus Circus and one of the best and cheapest in Las Vegas.

I'm glad that you're honest when trying buffets. Was that plate wet that you chose right before the carving station? If it was that would be a huge turn-off for me. Did you ever find the drink station?
Yeah, I did the CC breakfast buffet when my folks first moved to Vegas in the late 90s and I see it's still terrible! lol

Honestly one of your best. You told the truth and let the hotel/restaurant know that it is definitely subpar.
You can usually tell by the way your fork reacts to the food and your expression, how you really feel about it. I think it’s because you’re holding the camera but your fork becomes a jab jab and even your knife is saying yuck!

Circus Circus was the first hotel I ever stayed at in Vegas. That was back in 2006. I didn't go to the buffet (I didn't even know they had a buffet at the time). This buffet looks terrible.
I thought the rooms were ok. I didn't spend a lot of time in the room though.
I like MGM Signature Suites now.

Circus Circus hotel rooms are all I can afford on the strip and I've been coming here off and on since 1999.

Was just in Vegas this past weekend for Thanksgiving. Didn’t realize how crazy busy Vegas is around this time. Went to the Bellagio buffet and that was ok. Not too impressed. Should have gone to Caesar’s. Thank you for your videos. 😀

Jeffrey Jewell I’ve been to the one in palms. It’s expensive but 50 bucks will fill u up for the whole day. Honestly I’m not a buffet person so I’d rather split that 50 at a couple restaurants for a filling meal. I don’t understand buffets
I stayed there not very long ago when the Riviera was still around. I was surprised that it was empty when the Circus Circus was still pretty busy. The business didn't trickle down to this once iconic casino. I was just overall glad that I didn't bring bed bugs back home. And ate at Subway.

Looks better than how I remembered it 20 years ago when buffet was $3.99 for breakfast. The eggs were like cottage cheese. Very unappetizing. Today’s prices are double the Silverton Casino buffet and not as good.
Great job, I’ve been wondering if I should check this place out again, I haven’t been there for 12 years. I’d hoped it had maybe gotten better. Thanks to you, I’ll be saving $50. Love the “no tip” bonus. Amazing, you were there for 3 trips to the buffet and not one drink order was taken and never a plate cleared from your table. At least you saved $5. Or did they charge you for parking?

Main Street Station's Garden Court Buffet is $13 ($12 with member discount) for the dinner buffet and it is WAY better than this garbage. The steakhouse is the only redeeming eatery in Circus Circus and one of the best and cheapest in Las Vegas.

"Yeah...I won't be getting any more of that chicken..." BTW...old is totally a flavor..."ye olde boot leather". Sheesh... $22 for spaghetti and strawberry shortcake and no coffee.
