As my granny would say that is slick as duck butter. I would wager that those brown ones would be great for the hatchery released trout as they resemble the food pellets they ate ate the hatchery.

never would have thought of that. brilliant design. I'm going to make some of those for sure. but I'm going to put them in a container of real corn for a week to infuse the smell. cheers mate

This was a great beginners kit for a great price. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxKRURvLsu9Vvyw7gIuvt8FsApoQNCdz-1 Its given us a huge variety to test out and see what works well and what we like to use. Majority of the flies have stayed together well, but some of the rainbow warriors did unravel after catching a few blue gill. All in all, this was a great kit and are so happy with the purchase and value for money.

Try using egg yarn for your bread fly and the corn fly basically is pop foam in other words a balanced bait that moves when carp swim past it but it's good to see angler's thinking out of the box

We find that tying on a small hook sizes 10-12 (barbless) onto either braid (you can remove the fly line and tie the braid straight onto the backing if there is a strong current in the river and you want to fish on the bottom) or just onto the tippet for other waters with a tiny bit of (bread) kneaded into a paste using the water in the river or lake - just enough to cover the tip of the hook - is unbeatable. As carp are an exotic invader species we target them regularly and remove all of them from the waters so that the native fishes can recover. An original idea but I will carry on using the bread.

Holy crap mate! You're a smart and fantastic lure maker! Let me ask you this my friend: What did you use to make the corn (Beside the hook, of course). And what materials you used to make the bread, both the floater one and sinker? Thanks for any suggestions.

Did the same with a egg pattern. Soak it crushed mulberry. Stained and leeched into the water. It worked fine.
