I cannot wait until I get my fly tying stuff, sometime I will fish for bass at a pond on the golf course on my neighborhood and a couple weeks ago I saw a HUGE grass carp swimming around, hopefully this will catch that, thanks!
Tied something that looked very similar to this in the same color a few weeks ago. Very similar to a Montana's hybrid, and I did use some red hackle that I had. I haven't put it in front of a carp yet but only because the carp variation of a Clouser swimming nymph keeps producing!
