I would love to see a Benelli m1014 done by APS with 2 separate gas systems. 1 would be to run the semi auto system on the shotgun and of course the use of aps mk1 or mk3 shells.
I'm new to airsoft and nearly gave up finding a shotty I liked. I watched some videos on the JAG and it's my number 1 choice atm. Do you own a gen 2 super cqb?
I got a JAG arms shotgun and glad I did. I paid far less them it would for a TM shotty and the gen 2 models are amazing. This gun comes with 345 fps out of the box on tri shots. It can shoot 6 but you're better off keeping it at 3 shots. It's also compatible like TM with other shells.
I'm a big fan of the Maruzen M1100, although I wish it had some improvements like a bolt lock feature, some rails, and sight without having to modify etc. I prefer semi auto shotguns, never was a fan of pump action. So would love to see a Saiga 12, an Origin 12, or even just an improved version of the Maruzen M1100. As cool as the TM AA-12 or the even better looking SGR-12 is, I feel like airsoft shotguns (at least the semi auto/full auto ones) needs to be gas blowback/gas powered to give it the justice it deserves for it being a hard kicking gun in the real steel world.
I used to have and still have few shotguns. This list isn't same as my preference. Sadly a chinese tri-shot is the most realible, effecient solution - like DE M56 line or same from Cyma. I miss Tanaka M870 from the list. I know it not available and you can not place it on the last - because of sales representative. It the main design, PPS or APS or Dominator used it as donor. PPS is quite good option but the bolt have a design issue, the shell pusher kill it's spring and will be on the shell's way if the spring damaged. APS is a nice but not skirmishable because it is to powerful - good for competition shooting. TM M870 can not handle weak gases, with green gas it a money-graveyard, you will repair it more as use. Mine have issues in the first skirmish and almost have something from time to time. A Golden Eagle copy much cheaper and better, sadly. Maruzen, is a display gun. M1100 have weak plastic and pot metal internals, if something damage you won't find parts and it will be a paper-weight. Other Maruzen shotguns are the same. The one-shot springer version is a nice fun with upgraded hopuo system (like a sniper) but not effecient on the battlefield. TM KSG is a nice option, after time it requires upgrades but it is a worth option, not like japanese M870 line. Dominator. Way overpriced, more like display gun. It is good option if somebody need a shotgun for dry-practice. TM AA12 I'd a nice fun but AEG. For me, it isn't a shotgun. Fab shotguns are a joke for me. CO2 version is a cheap Golden Eagle shotgun with external skin. Springer version is overpriced but a good option.
@@idogamingyt1453 www.airsoft-innovations.com/collections/flak-10-flak-5-gas-powered-super-shotguns you roll up with this thing, people are liable to just straight up go back home
the dream is a functional shell eject semiauto like the benelli m4. the ultimate would be a semi auto that also uses the gas in shell APS system for the power of the shells & a gas system to cycle the bolt. i must admit though my converted DM870 (converted to use APS shells) is absolutely amazing.
You gotta see the new flak series shotguns coming from airsoft innovations. 5 or 10 shot models and fed from m4 aeg mags and internal gas reservoir and regulator
@@jamescameron6819 The Flak series as they stand now are just too inaccurate. A 6 foot spread @ 30m will probably equate to only 3 of the 10 bbs hitting the enemy player... and the rest are just intimidation / waste. Except those wasted 7 bbs per shot are a double edged sword cus at point blank they all hit a player at a force that will seriously hurt and piss off enemy players. So that means the guns will either be nerfed to a dysfunctional low FPS or they will sadly be banned outright at Indoor fields.
Cyma m870 metal series are by far the most commonly seen and popular shotguns in Europe, then it's the Jag arms , golden eagle and velites Secteur series, strange how it's so drastically different he other side of the pond. . Had my Cyma metal mag pull edition for over 5 years and it's still running perfect, still 340 fps and out ranging any other shotgun including the AA12 by a huge margin.
I watched this a few times and did research and went with a JAG arms shotty. Honestly the JAG gen 2s might even be better then TM shotguns. They cost far less and have all the gains. I think they might even shoot at more fps as well. On Tri shot it shoots each bb at 345.
You say lower end and I can't help but think your talking about my Jag Arms that was $300 and has given me zero problems because the only problem I've heard is from people storing them without gas but we'll see haven't watched the video through
I’m surprised the BO Manufacturing STF12s were ranked so high up. They are reliable, and I don’t think I’d ever go to a different platform for the shotgun class (I just got my second one last week, my first one broke after getting crushed during a move)
Great video! Make sure to purchase a shell catcher. Unless you want to pickup every shell. Imo it's the only thing that makes shell ejecting shotguns worth playing with.
I used to have the good fortune of owning a TM Spas12 with the folding stock that i was somehow lucky enough to buy from UNcompany. I have to say, i would never buy one without the stock, and I do not understand why nobody makes them any more. With the stock, they are both far more functional and look much better. Fortunately, I've just received a Cyma m870 with metal folding stock, but I think it's a shame the sexiest looking shotgun is no longer being made.
The shotgun that I expect to be high on the list would be the Tanaka M1897. Though not as reliable as the ones shown here, the wood and ABS finish is excellent, just like Tanaka’s other products. It could use PPS shells. Also it is the only airsoft shotgun that you could mount a bayonet on it🗡A huge plus for collectors. Unfortunately Tanaka only makes the model gun version now so finding a gas one is really hard. As a owner of this rare beauty, I found this shotgun a great ton of fun to use. Also easily the best shotgun for decorative purposes.
For me personally the cam 870 being the most realistic and almost the most functional, most modifiable airsoft shotgun it gains the absolute top spot in my opinion and sure the TM spring shotguns deserve praise for being the granddad of the airsoft shotguns, We all know it is only on the list for exactly that reason with the lower amount of pellets fired per second and less fun factor than the cam 870. The AA12 in my opinion is not deserving of the top since it absolutely does not feel like using a shotgun. It is just a less accurate and less versatile AEG with a meh skin. Had it at least been a GBBR I would be silent but to have an AEG crowned best shotgun is not acceptable.
Very true, I have both, the AA12 strikes fear in the heart of the enemy though. Also the fact I can just dump 3000 rounds in the drum Vs all the time it takes to load up the Mk1 APS Cam shells the night before then gas and mate them together and load them all onto my rig/ sling /belt on game day. Buuuuut the feeling I get from the pump on the Cam 870 is just so worth the effort!!
