T-Rex-Racing makes a pretty burly full skid plate that fits the CL-X line and Kawasaki Z650. Its kind of ugly but it definatly looks like it would protect the headers, oil filter and cat. It bolt to the frame in four places not the engine case sonit is definately strong.

Pretty cool bike for the money but if your going to call it an adventure bike or scrambler it should come with a skid plate not exhausts that will be the first thing to hit the ground!

@@krasky Known. I follow closely on that one. Still, a CLX ADV could be even lighter, and just a KNOCKOUT of a bike!!
