the version titled "Days and Days" is this song but live, and the words are a bit different.. It changes to "Must be something in the way move, must be something in the way you look I'm not sure just yet. Must be something in the way you dream, you just go home and 13 days inbetween you and I. This is me before I come undone, this is me before I fall apart" plus some of the other verses are also different.

I think that's a great line.
@TeddySloef Yea i noticed that too! maybe it's like "when i get up/i've got you" it's the same song but it has different titles...

They're the same song. 'painting songs' comes from the part where she sings about painting music.
@HeavyMetalLover6661 i have a playliste called TS+GATH it has about 65-70 tegan & sara songs. and a few from gregory and the hawk.

YES but its the orignal recorded version of it off one of their demos the one you here with them talking in the beaging (sorry for misspelling that) is a live bootleg version i think sara must of edited it in the live one.
yea i have the same song but the lyrics are completely different.......i like this one better

uh, loads of teenagers do that....dont know where you're from but here in europe its normal for teenagers to play instruments (self taught or not) sing, and write songs. yes they are great, but its not that biiiig of a deal what you said. no offence

people usually cover songs...its not as popular to write and record your music...
