I'm so glad Lua finally saw that "true" Orin fight because when i first did my proper evil run (on tactician before honour was released) and walzed into that fight at level 10, Orin absolutely DESTROYED me. It's actually insane how much more intimidating she is in battle just as herself vs as the slayer (and it just proves that the slayer truly does suck)
It took me 4 tries to actually beat her because i had no idea she was actually that strong without the slayer and i was completely unprepared
On solo challenges the Slayer fight is generally more difficult especially on honour mode. Slayer form has pretty much the same abilities as regular Orin, the form also gets improved extra attack for 3 attacks per turn, and there's also the ritual mechanic for 12 unstoppable stacks. The 2 assassins in the Slayer fight can also stun you.
I cheesed that fight with that protection dome spell
This is the only Orin fight I have seen either, and I managed to somehow use spells, potions, and all kinds of buffs to simply even the fight. I managed to beat her in slayer form pre-slayer buffs as a cleric.
My conspiracy theory regarding the "plothole" you found is that Shadowheart did learn how to swim, but Viconia made her forget it. It would be very funny if this were the case.
I like the fact, that when you dont get to that romance scene (or don't romance shadowheart at all) she nearly drowns in the endscene. :D
No glitching or short rest okay... but no sex is the worst

For anyone wondering:
In order, 5 lvls gloomstalker ranger, 4 lvls assassin rogue, 3 lvls champion fighter.
I get fighter champion for action surge but why rogue?
Rogue is for sneak attack, cunning action hide/dash assassin's alacrity *action resets on start of combat* and auto crit on surprised enemy. The 4th level is for the feat.

Watching you beat ketheric and myrkul alone hurts me to see, because i lost my honour mode run against myrkul with 6 people in the party and forcing ketheric to let me fight against myrkul

Man and here I am being scared of a normal honour mode run, absolutely incredible job!
Very nice, the only note I'd point out for anybody else wanting to do similarly insane challenge so will have to use a similar build is don't use your sneak attack on the first attack so much. At least last time I played it asks for every hit you land, so when you have a really good chance to hit you are better off saving it till the last attack in the hopes you will crit on one of those so the crit bonus also applies to the sneak damage.
Downside is that you will have more turns without sneak attack damage this way, although can't say what's calculates for better damage on average
@@alexmashkin863 That is why I said when you have a really good chance to hit. As it was against the brain itself only a nat 1 misses its a clear win to wait and hope. If your hit chance is more 50:50 it is probably a terrible idea, but may be worth it still if that target really really has to die now - going to need to get lucky anyway, putting a few more eggs in that basket.

I saw her build at level 11 from the Extension on Twitch, it was 5 Ranger Gloom Stalker, 4 Rouge Assassin, 2 Fighter. Basically the same build as Morgana Evelyn with slightly different gear. Check out Morgana's video for it

@@timothynavratil437 completing the Zent Quest in Act 1 by delivering the unopened chest causes it to spawn on Brim. Afterwards it can be looked from Brim

What is that second fight? Why is she fighting them at the inn and why is jaheira helping her?
If Isobel dies, everyone at the inn aside from Jaheira loses their protection against the shadow curse and become shadow-cursed undead (and therefore hostile).

its what happens when isobel dies/is incapacitated, everyone there (except jaehira because…plot armor? idr why) succumbs to shadow curse
If Isobel gets kidnapped everyone turns into shadow zombies
@@royal9561 iirc it’s because she also has Selune’s Blessing as a condition; both her and Halsin mention having been in the shadow cursed lands before (around when it became cursed) though they didn’t meet at the time.
