There is no doubt it is possible, in the infinite monkey with infinite typewriters type of way - as basically everything in BG3 depends on the random number from the die rolls. So try it long enough you will get that lucky eventually. And with the skill and knowledge of the game shown the odds are shifted very much more in favour of success, still an insane challenge, that may best her. But given the other challenges she has already completed I'd say she has the sticking power and skill to manage in the end.

Probably the greatest BG3 player... or the crazyiest, or are they both the same. Great effort, but she we be back to do it again. And if anyone can do this it is Luality... "High 5"
The fact you have to ask if they are the same tells you Larian really nailed the TTRPG D&D experience, where crazy can loop back on itself to genius level cunning... And I'd have to agree on both being true here. That challenge mode seems like it would be really quite fun to play, at least for a run or two, but is most certainly the product of a warped mind...
Only thing that puts me off this challenge is how narrow the range of plausible seeming build options are under those constraints (without also modding the game to add in more 5E options at least). Almost all the Subclass in the game are just going to be tapped out of resources and become useless long before the forced long rest. So you can't fail and decide to mix it up that much on the next run, its going to be done almost the same, just with more care taken to prevent being hit by that hold person...

@@Luality I've had it happen many times, I now have a list of NPC's that have it and I always target them first or avoid them till act 2 depending on my solo run build.

this was still great just to see Lua's smart ways to get out of sticky situations, that's the best thing about these runs

The stealth roll preventing surprise rounds is so real. And so I just spam the hell out of Ctrl click attack to get as many attacks as humanly possible before combat, and sometimes they just die xD
I am now towards the final part of my 2nd playthrough as a stealth ranger assassin and was wondering why I rarely get my surprise round.
So that is f--ing why!!!
@@danniton9831 it can prevent the surprise round sometimes, but you can also fire off a shit ton of shots before combat actually starts because of it. Or you can enter turn based mode and reposition and hide before they find you and rinse and repeat

Hey, Disney princess, i love how you look into the cam, most streamers are talking to their chat monitor lots of them can stream for 8 hours without even once looking directly into the cam.

LUA OMG!!! First off, I've had to not watch your BG stuff cuz my friend and I took MONTHS to get through the campaign (had to stat over after 90 hrs cuz Astarion's romance got messed up and we didn't want her to not have a romance at the end game) BUT YOU ARE PLAYING THIS AT A LEVEL WE COULD NEVER DREAM OF

I come at this fight from the back door. (The one with the candles) And I open the door, fire an arrow close the door. And they can't open the door from their side and they can't bust it down.
your videos have inspired me to finally try honor mode. my party is level 4 with a swords bard archer, EK thrower, moon druid, and bladelock and so far i can only think of one battle where i sort of struggled (how as i supposed to know phase spiders could see invisibility on HM?). but you make the combat look so easy!
I was wondering from the start premise if Murderhobo looting of traders etc would count as stealing. Seemed like you would need it to have any hope, as that is one heck of a challenge set. But I would think stabbing friendly NPC in the back for their loot probably should count as stealing... Still fascinating challenge, and seems much more fun and less annoying to play than the 1hp one.
So glad I ran into your channel! Recently through YT shorts, now I’m gonna solo BG3! But I will fully be using long and short rests, merchants and tadpole haha

Trying to do an honour mode run myself. I added: No elixirs, no Leap, no sanctuary, no minor illusion, no bomb setups. You should try it, you reeeeally like to abuse the bomb setups. No can do amigo :).
Using the cape from the Dark Urge to get invis every time you kill someone, should be banned as well. Not that you did it, but it's sooo god :)

And the worst of all, Ranger 😢
Worst of all...probably the strongest class available for the early portion of a solo run? Gloomstalker's get a 2nd attack on round 1 that's even stronger than baseline at lvl 3 in addition to bonus initiative, and hide as a bonus action. Throw barbarian gets pretty strong at 4 but even then you can't really go toe to toe with almost any fights when you're solo. Even if you can reliably 1 shot 2 things (which notably you can't do on round 1 because your bonus action is used for rage, which means no enraged throw or even a cheeky speed pot because drinking that's a bonus action)if their are still 13 things hitting you, you're dead. The ability to be sneaky, go first in combat and get an additional attack on the opening round is incredibly valuable. Ya an open hand monk/thief rinse like 15 people with actions left over at lvl 12 but for lvl 1-5 or so I don't think anyone tops gloomstalker ranger for a solo run.

Ranger is one of the best soloing classes in the game, but you have set different rules making it a bit less good, but still powerful, since you got the titanstring bow

My favorite and also the best BG3 streamer.
I get all the rest, but how do you go through the game without long/short rests? So any spell slot or special ability is a one time use only?
There are ways to regain them, potions, illithid thingys, Raph's bath, also chapter transitions give you long rest too
That's why she is playing a stealth archer, that is one of the only builds that is not dependent on any resources requiring rests (sup die, spell slots, oath/divinity charges, etc)
