Luality's tactical mastery of BG3 is honestly kinda scary. Every moment of silence it's like you can see the literally thousands of different things she's considering before committing to an action.

@@FiftyStates5 the part for me is the prep that goes into it… like making sure you don’t accidentally start the cut scenes or having your companions placed appropriately before the start of the fight, that would ruin one of my runs

I really needed that video. I'm on act 3 in my own honour mode run, and Scratch just died in my camp, while valiantly defending my party against Aradin. I'm absolutely devastated, thank you for showing me this good boy freeing Aylin, that put a smile on my face.
Why was aradin in your camp? you weren't able to convince him you don't have dame aylin and then did a long rest before killing laroacan?
@@mayahaim1461 you can tell aradin you have the night song but not give it to him so he’ll takes matters into his own hands and comes to your camp for her
@@mayahaim1461 I rolled two nat 1 in a row when convincing him, and I didn't know he invaded the camp if you failed that check. He was easy to dispatch, but I rolled a very low initiative and Scratch bravely bit one of the guys before falling to their blades. I unleashed everything I had in retaliation, but it was too late. Now I play with his ball alone to keep his memory alive.
Once I meet Aradin in act 3, ShadowHeart will always have sanctuary prepared. No one is hurting my good boy

I just learned something from you at 0:35 and I have 481 hours in the game. Drop a water container near where you want water then cast an aoe spell that damages enemies whilst causing the jar to break and cause wet.

I'm glad we have something in common Lua >D but instead of keeping them, I took the NPC's bodies and turn them to zombies and they serve me in future battles... my last body i picked up was Raphael and i used him in the final battle.. hehehehe

For my honor mode run I was close to wipe because of cazador as I forgot to bring counterspell and he got to AOE bomb my party on the first turn.

Hi, I’m new to this game, and I wanted to know how you break the bottles of water and then still have an action left for spells
maybe she is using two crossbows, one on each hand. When she needs to break a bottle of water, she switches to crossbows (press F), and then she shoots with the offhand crossbow which only takes a bonus actions instead of an action

ok, im on my 2nd playthrough, been watching for a while. Can someone explain why shes choosing to "not" react, or react in certain instances against enemy attacks?
In the Balthazar fight, it's likely due to the level of the spell. Psionic backlash does more damage the higher level spell, I believe an additional 1d4 per level, so if you're going to be hit my multiple spells, you should use psionic on the highest level possible. You can also use it when hit by spells that require concentration, as it quickly procs a con throw, and you might get lucky and have them fail immediately.
More generally, however, on casters I won't use my reaction until I know it's not wasted. You can only react to one thing each turn, and with only one character, that means you can only counterspell one person. If there's a spell you know you need to counter, you should save your reaction for that. Or if you're playing a monk with the counter gear, you can avoid using your reaction to deflect missiles, and instead use it to punch someone who attacks you. Basically, it's about action economy and saving your reaction for the best use of it.
@@wenting2457 i was meaning (prob understood) react to "saving throws" and luck of the realm etc. i always just react. but im not a pro. just wanna understand when and when not to react. i understand some of your logic. but, not quite.
