Actually got it to work on my DDR5 32GB (x2 16GB) Corsair Vengeance. It was automatically set to 4800MHz when my max RAM speed was 6000MHz. Sorted it with no issues. Cheers
Does it damaging RAM, or maybe get hot enough to die? I think its not maybe good to put it on max, maybe better or couple Hz less just to be sure about heat, anyone tested yet?
For those with booting problem 1. Make sure your ram stick are in second and fourth slot from cpu! 2. Make sure your cpu support same speed as ram stick and what is the maximum ram speed for your cpu!

I did exacty that but my PC won't boot after the enabling of XMP1.. 😢 I tried to lower the freequency quite drastically but It does not seem to work either. What can I do ?!
@@Binary_Stack I7 13700KF 2060 SUPER (But very soon a new 4090 will come into the PC) Corsair Vengeance 6000Mhz DDR5 2*16Go M2 Asus Prime z790 850W corsair alim So by default the ram set itself to 4000MHz and I retried yesterday with XMP 1 profil full auto to 4800Mhz and it booted. But I would have loved to put it at 5400Mhz to match the full power of my I7 13700K that can go to that frequency at max. Ty you for your time!
@@OW3NN1NJA XMP stands for "Extreme Memory Profiles" and D.O.C.P stands for "Direct Overclocking Profile". If you have an Intel based system, your setting will likely be called XMP, and for AMD users, it'll be D.O.C.P, but both achieve the same goal.

@@Jbird4330this is NOT true. I have 2 amd builds and one shows XMP and the other amd build shows D.O.C.P.... XMP depends on motherboard brand and ram brand. Not whether it's Intel or AMD.

Mine doesn't have XMP. Only has Manual and DOCP
DOCP is XMP.

I used intel i5 and Asusu H510M-E motherboard and there is one stik of 8 GB ram but my cases my ram not overclocking. And my system is not starting
For gigabyte it's tweaker then change from disabled to profile 1
Is fail safe, system not starting, or is fail-safe, motherboard blown up?

Yes, because you have a Ryzen cpu. Xmp is for intel. Just follow the instructions and you’ll be good to go.
