Just my opinion, but the acting in this show, especially by Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick is absolutely fantastic. They are clearly very talented actors.

Chuck Bass is the best character in all of Gossip Girl. One of the only characters on TV that went from a huge villain, to the most intriguing character on the whole show. Really reminds of me Klaus from The Vampire Diaries.
KLAROLINE, sorry if you ship otherwise, but that was the most empowering ship. And if only chuck had his british accent, then he'd really be like Klaus.

Their relationship was beautiful and a work of art.Two damaged people who could not initally admit their feelings for one another due to the emotional vunerabilty it would bring them,but due to these feelings being so strong they couldn't hold them back completely which is why in my opinion their realtionship was so on and off throughout right until the very end when they had faced their own demons and felt forfilled enough to be with one another completely.
I couldn't have said it any better. But in what way was Blair damaged? Because of her relationship hmwith her mom? And her father leaving?and the eating disorder?
Honestly the sweetest moment ever is when they are in the hospital and she convinces him to see his fathers grave and he does and he kisses her on the head and says “thank you” it’s so sweet and my favorite scene of them

I love, love, love Chuck and Blair... but honestly, Dan pissed me off the whole entire series. He was not likable, not once did I feel bad for him. He was an ass, and I always thought Serena could do so much better. He's just ew.
One thing I hated about Gossip Girl but also had overwhelming respect for, was the decision to change Dan from such a sweet, innocent and charming character to a complete mess. He was a sad lonely teenage from the wrong side of the bridge but when he got into the other world, he changed into a horrible person that everybody lost respect for. I love the meaning behind it and admire the decision but at the same time it was such a shame :(
To me personally, I believe Ed did his best acting in #11 when he thought something happened to Serena. That whole scene with him and Leighton talking about Bart's death and how he felt like he wasn't man enough was so well written and they conveyed it personally. I just started GG like a month ago and I'm already on the last episode. I really feel like their should be GG the next generation and Jenny and Eric should come back and they could further explain what happens to Chuck, Blair, Serena and everyone else too lol.

Maybe I missed it, but one of my favorite moments was in the very beginning when scheming, Chuck says- you are smarter than people give you credit for. I know it seems simple, but it was one of the first times I saw a strong connection with them.
In the first season Chuck might have been heartless but when he fell in love with Blair he changed in my opinion he is the sweetest on the show because he had stepped away from Blair for Nate, he had told her that he didn’t love her for Nate again, he had made her fairytale book come true, and he had traveled to 5 different places to get her her favourite stuff and told her he loves her too. And I fell in love with Chuck as soon as he had fell in love with Blair but unlike Blair I stayed in love with him forever.
We're lost without Gossip Girl. They really need to make more seasons WHY THE HELL DID THEY STOP MAKING MORE SEASONS?? IT BROKE OUR HEARTS WHO ELSE AGREES???
They were my favs and I didn't really knew why, now I know: They had chemestry, the actors were great at playing them, also they made sense together as their personalities and story line. No one else had that combination in the show.

Maybe I missed it, but one of my favorite moments was in the very beginning when scheming, Chuck says- you are smarter than people give you credit for. I know it seems simple, but it was one of the first times I saw a strong connection with them.

In the first season Chuck might have been heartless but when he fell in love with Blair he changed in my opinion he is the sweetest on the show because he had stepped away from Blair for Nate, he had told her that he didn’t love her for Nate again, he had made her fairytale book come true, and he had traveled to 5 different places to get her her favourite stuff and told her he loves her too. And I fell in love with Chuck as soon as he had fell in love with Blair but unlike Blair I stayed in love with him forever.
Blair stayed in love with him she was just in denial like he was at first.
