This would be really fun and like a recipe share. Maybe like you put in your first recipe and a little note in it then you mail it to a friend and they add to it and write a little note and then keep sending it to friends or back and forth to each other or something like that would be awesome

I will not be gluing any pockets to the spine. I would have glued it to the front inside cover instead. Thanks for showing me that so I don't do the same thing.

I LOVE this project! Maymay, you have such a keen eye for decorating your albums. I enjoy watching you work through the process. With this “Baking Memories” album, I would not only add recipes to it, but journal memories about making each recipe. So many things came to my mind as I was watching this video. It would be a great keepsake for my grandchildren to have…maybe make one for each of them with the recipes of their favorite things that I have made for them and give it to them as a gift. I might type the recipes, but use my own writing to journal the memories. Thank you for sharing your creativity!

I have tons of those mini composition notebook. The best time to get them is around just before school. I scoop up three packs. I have only made up three so far. My oldest granddaughter wanted one. It's a good deal to get them from Walmart in a 10pack for 4.69 who couldn't pass up a good deal. tfs

You do such a fantastic job coming up with projects that any crafter can do with supplies they already have on hand. You also do an excellent job explaining how to do it. Your covers are not too busy! What a great way to use up scraps! This would make a great prayer requests notebook. I might make some for the people in our church growth group for Christmas! ❤❤❤

I love this idea and there are just so many things you can do with the composition books, like keep track of birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas card lists, gift list and so much more. If this lived in my purse it would probably get destroyed, so I would add a ribbon under the paper to help keep it closed, I’m sort of the everything and the kitchen sink in my purse person.

There are times when I think your add-ons make the page/cover busy until it all comes together! In the end, it works and looks special. It's personal preference after all. Just keep doing you Maymay, Your creations are awesome, inspiring and especially easy to recreate! Thanks for all you do!
Isn't it interesting how things appeal to some and not others. Variety is the spice of life. I don't think the cover is busy at all--you have a good balance with the main focal point and the colors of the three other pieces of paper/stickers tie it all together. Besides, it's for you so you can do whatever you like.
Love this! I would paint the covers with a protective sealant such as ModPodge. I was also thinking of making one just for desserts and making labels for pies, cakes, cookies, etc as I have so many. Maybe another book for main dishes labeled chicken, pork, beef, etc. You open our minds to so much creativity and I really appreciate that! Thank you so very much!
I will caution you on the Mod Podge, it can and usually does warp the covers of these. They are paper after all. I don’t do it for that reason, also I do not like the look. But, you can do it, it does function just be careful.
I can’t believe that I actually have this stamp set AND the comp books! I just finished with the recipe folio and waiting to decorate it. I am going to use these for gifts. And I have the dots and stripes!! Lol
