Is there a way you guys can file charges on the stolen fabrats merchandise logo? Robby is awesome at paint and body work. The best I've seen because he is so thorough.
Already subbed over there Paul.
I love watching Robby too!
Good Job..... Really...
Thanks Paul and the rest of the rats for sprinkling pixie dust on the Nugget!
Sorry to hear the scammers are still at it. I hope all the customers get the true information.
Paul and the FabRats team done a great job on the little Nugget. I can’t wait to see Ed’s reaction when he sees it for the first time.
Thanks for the video FabRats
God Bless.
Man, can't wait to see Ed's big smile when he sees this!! He is gonna freak out, then get mad that yall did all this for him, but he is gonna love it!
That was kinda emotional dropping off the Nugget with Robby. It was Paul's baby for a couple months. Ed will love it. 🦾🙏😉
Nice to see companies supporting this build. That is what America is, and can be. Fabrats and Matt's off road are real people who care about others. Awesome to see.
I'm 41 years old have severe Crohn's disease that has made keeping a job recently very difficult. But all you guys make me want to move to Utah and try to work as hard as I can because you all inspire me to keep trying to live when I want to give up!!! Thank you
I have a family member that has had rough times with Crohn's. Never give up, life can still hold good times. You probably already know this but Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic can do wonders, my family member spent a great deal of time in Cleveland and thinks the world of it's care.
Love to you brother Keep up the good fight always allow good things to inspire you and when things are tough talk to your friends and family.
Every Life has value.
Prayers to ya brother hope it gets better
Never give up! Turn to God, the source of all things good. 🙏❤️
As a fellow crohns disease man, and a truck driver, you have my sympathy. I've lost many jobs due to others not knowing what it is, and that it's a legitimate medical issue. Keep up the good fight brother 💪🏻
Do you remember what he started with after they drug it out of a 40 years woods. Drug it up, and sometimes under the river, and today, it's gorgeous. Can't wait to see what Robbie's gonna do to it.
I still can't believe they took it on that submarine adventure. My jaw dropped! Remember all the rat poop and floating debris?
That cool little rig was left for dead 30 years ago. That's half my life! Ed is almost exactly my mother's age.
NOW look at it!! And it's not even painted yet!!
Somehow, having and knowing friends like he does, I don't think Ed will be 'THAT' surprised!
I can't wait to see the expression on Ed's face when you give this thing back to him all finished. I hope he loves it.
I AM AWAITING THIS JOY TOY FOR ED!!!!
I was thinking of that very thing today.
I'm willing to bet it's going to bring some tears to his eyes, when he sees the love going into this thing.
It's a good illustration that nothing is too far gone...if we can just weld on it some.
yeah, since video one I've been waiting to see the reveal to Ed, he will be taken back for sure! you have done an amazing job with this. almost sad to see it ready for paint
Watch the latest Matt's video Ed already knows. You can tell by the way he HELPS on Rudy's 1/2 done. LOL
@@1suoiraciv954 Doubt that. Unless Ed said he knows, he don't.
Ed loves to help.
Thos was the best series i ever watched on RUclips or TV. Thank you all for helping Ed get his Golden nugget going
This thing is a true one of a kind machine! Can't wait to see it run and ed's reaction. I spent all of yesterday discovering this channel and it has been awesome! I'm super jealous of the couple who won the ride along. I could see you guys starting an off-road, rock crawling ride along business. Want to cross the Rubicon trail off the bucket list but can't afford to build a rock crawler? Ride it with Fab Rat Off Road Adventures!
That is a really good idea 🤪👍
I'm sure there are a lot of legal and insurance issues with doing something like that. But i know for sure the experience would be incredible...only problem is...if Paul is out doing that...…the videos of him doing what he loves and we find entertaining wont be coming along as often !,,,,.....hes only one man ! albeit a talented one lol
@chris Brennan agreed!🙂
@@chrisbrennan6218 one of my favorite things about this channel is that there's a good mix of shop fab work footage and actual wheeling and testing of the crawlers and vehicles outside of the shop. It's like two channels in one! Michelle was handling that FJ pretty well, she could probably do the driving while Paul fixes the rigs! Might be a little "rough" though! Papa Dar is pretty good behind the wheel, too. Either way, it's just a thought / idea based on how fun the drive along looked.
I’ll drive my 4Runner out from PA to jump on that! Yeehaw
Great to see the Golden Nugget is at Robbie’s getting ready to be dolled up. Can’t wait to see Paul get it back and do his finishing touches to it.
You guys inspire us in many ways. I’m not a wheeler but this gear head gets a lot of confidence from what you do.
I’ve lived in St George a long time and you and your family make Utah proud by your example of family, humility, humor and work ethics. Keep safe and be happy
Paul “wear your safety goggles “!😉
I’m gonna shed a (happy) tear when this is reunited with Ed, no matter which way they do it…
The REAL Fab Rats shirt that I purchased is my absolute favorite shirt of all time. The quality is crazy great. It is very much worth your while to verify that you are purchasing real merch rather than knock off junk. Oh and btw, thank for all that FR is doing for the golden nugget/ED. I can see that you are all family out there and it is quite refreshing to see. Keep up the great work!
I love Sunday mornings with Fabrats and Matts ORR! The FJ build and the Nugget build have been a ton of fun to watch. I am now also addicted to Robbie L's channel. You guys do great content.
There’s a good possibility, that by the time this FJ is completed, you won’t be able to find a single used one anywhere. People are going to be stepping over each other to build there own. It’s the coolest little 4x4 I’ve seen in years 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
At least the people shorter than 5'8"
The 'Yota FJ45 is Paul's 'new' beast of a rock crawler.
Ed's little Zuke is an LJ20. A very rare Suzuki in the US even when it was new. Almost as rare as an FJ45. Both are really cool rigs. The Zuke is so cool because the tiny size makes them super capable even stock!
I'm IMPRESSED!!!!!!!!! You have the unique ability to assess the problem, visualize how to create the fix or fab and the skills to put it all together!!!!!!!
Always a good Sunday when I see Fab Rats/ MORR/ R.Layton back- to-back on my RUclips subscription feed
The whole FabRatZ crew are artisans of their crafts. Really inspiring!
You guys did a great job on the build, can't wait to see Ed's reaction when he gets it back.
Ed knows something is afoot. How could he not.? What a patient man he is. This is all so very grand.
example of family, humility, humor and work ethics. Keep safe and be happy Paul “wear your safety goggles “!
That new winch reminds me of the movie "The gods must be crazy" where he has a winch strong enough to drag his entire Jeep up into a tree.
Just watched Layton finish up Matt's Banana and it looked great. Can't wait to see the Golden Nugget. Edit: That thing is sitting nice!
Same here ha ha 🇬🇧🇬🇧
The golden nuggets is in the junkyard rip it's not his original Suzuki they should have just left it out there in the mountains for historic memory instead the dotards ripped it out of there and through it in the junkyard when it came back
@@thethiefonthecross9092 I see you've had your Cocoa Puffs this morning. You're either on something or need to be on something.
@@jb3536 does the truth hurt? You're either in denial or a lap dog
@@thethiefonthecross9092 I'm not in denial if I'm dealing with a nut-job.
One thing you forgot .... the (unpatented) "FabRats Deer Catcher" on the front bumper! Looks great, you guys did a great job of taking care of a good friend. Can't wait till you present it to Ed.
The Golden Nugget is looking amazing Paul. that is a sweet bumper. Come on Fabrats fans we all know to only order merch direct from Fabrats. That is a sweet winch, perfect for the Golden Nugget. Yay for the next step at Robby's shop! What an awesome bonus footage! I can only imagine how surprised Matt was in person!
Cant wait to see Ed get this back.
Yeah, after a year
@@Avinash-xz7yn how fast could YOU get it done?
Paul has had it less than 3 months.
Can you even do the work Paul has done, AT ALL, let alone anywhere near the quality.
@@haroldphipps3457 what quality? They've literally replaced entire body, the only thing they've done is placing axles, steering column, engine and gearbox and making room for it, max 3 to 4 weeks if you're working on other vehicles too
@@Avinash-xz7yn show me expert!
@@haroldphipps3457 I've already worked on my Jeep, replacing engine and gearbox took 3 days, adjusting axle took 2 days, other fittings 1 week, painting 1 week as there were many other vehicles, looks like you're a big mouth and dont know anything about vehicles
Thank you, thank you for telling us that RUclips is the one unsubscribing us. We thought we were going crazy. It happens on other channels too. Congrats on golden nugget getting it to paint. Love these videos. Michelle is Awesome!!
Waiting to see Ed's reaction to what all of you did for him. If you ever run for President, you have my vote. You can make new things and old things work again.
Even without paint this is probably the best this Lj20 ever looked. fantastic job guys. Can't wait for paint.
Cannot believe you didn't do a bumper bolt on. Even more, I can't believe someone is scamming the schwag-merch. Isn't that an infringement on trademark and copyright laws?
Love the nug build. Want one for myself now.
4:36 - The **real** Fab Rats make an appearance: two kids creeping down the steps after prowling around Paul’s random parts attic. God knows what those two will be fabbing by the time they are in high school! I wonder if they know how lucky they are to have this miraculous playground.
someone has sharp eyes for details - had to go back and look again
This has been a great journey following you guys working on Ed's baby. I can't wait to see the old boys face when he sees it all refinished!
This project kept me great company. I snapped my Achilles the day before Matt retrieved it from the forest. The nugget is nearly mobile now, and so am I. Well done!!
After all the love to the golden nugget! Ed is a special man with all this support!
Top 3 RUclips channel for me ! And I watch RUclips a lot ! Paul builds stuff ! Teaches about the old eyechrometer! And Michelle just brings the beautiful scenery
So glad you decided to do the body swap. Fixing that old body would have been amazing to watch, but Ed getting that thing before summer is gonna be awesome
Thanks for all the work you did on this vehicle I appreciate you guys. No negative comments no 'hey how can we didn't do it this way' I appreciate you
Ed’s going to be one happy gold miner when he see’s that Nugget !
Paul n family and Fab Rats crew you're all awesome for fixing the golden nugget for Ed I can't wait for Robby to finish the paint and see Ed's reaction to getting the golden nugget back
This has been so much fun to watch the Golden Nugget come together! Thanks for all your hard work!
Great job on the Golden nugget, I know Ed is not expecting much and will be blow away by what he gets. Hats off to everyone involved.
Man that little truck is going to be so awesome when its done. Keep up the great work sir.
What a fun, fun surprise for your old buddy Ed! You’re good people.
Ed is going to love that little rig.
It's really cool to see how far that truck has come along in two and a half months. He took an average looking tiny little Suzuki and made it look like one nice little badass small trail machine for him
It will be pretty capable on Dana 44 Rubicon axles/lockers. Much lighter than Rubicon.
Small trail? The nugget looks like it would take on any trail challenge!
@@RolandoMarreroPR small trail machine. Not something to be used only on small trails. This thing will go almost anywhere I believe
@@ajspak874 My friend has a built Sammy with a race built Chevy V6, Dana 60s on 37s. Its near as capable as a competition rock crawler. It can be terrifying to ride in!
This same guy also has a gutted out Porsche 914 with a blown Aluminum Buick V6 built for auto cross. Ive never been more scared in my life, riding on public streets (bad idea with this nut) in a 400hp, sub 1500lb car.
Paul, Matt, Robby and Ron Pratt have the best videos on the internet. While each company does different operations, there is over lap with the work they do. We get to see the equipment used and how each operator goes about solving the problems to bring projects to a successful conclusion. Truly wholesome and informative videos for the entire family.
I also watch all 4 of these channels almost daily. Couldn’t have said it better
Love when your wife comes down for explanations. Seems like a real lady. Good content. 👍
You're a good man, Paul. Hell of a job!
Ed is going to be so happy when he sees the amazing work you did. It looks night and day better!
Paul, you are a master of your craft!! I can't get enough of your videos. Can't wait to see what you do to Michelle's Jeepster or your sons Chief!!!
Can’t wait to see Robby Work his magic! He has a great channel too!
Watching from maine! I have literally been waiting all week for this video! Absolutely love your work! wish i had half the mechanical/fabrication knowledge thats in your head! GREAT JOB!
Same here. I should be dealing with yesterday’s blizzard, but the snow will still be here after I watch this. 😂
Hey, I have family in Maine, maybe you know them!
You done a class job with the Golden Nugget Paul and gang just remember when you get it back, you will have to be careful not to scratch it. That may turn out to be the hardest part ha ha. Hats off to you Paul great work.
Great to see the Golden Nugget in final rebuild stage! With that winch that looks so cool & Ed is in for one BIG surprise! Good Job!!
It’s going to be an emotional reveal for Ed.
What a nice project! I love every single video made about it
You got Ed's Golden Nugget fixed fast considering that you were working on your rockcrawer at the same time plus waiting for parts.
Great job.
Can ya feel the love for Ed today 🎼🎶 I sure can during all the stages of recovery, restoration & now paint on his Golden Nugget y'all make the world a little brighter with old fashioned good livin great video ❤😉👍
"Cute" is usually not a word you'd use to describe a winch, but that winch looks so cute on the LJ20 👍
When you get it back and think it's done, you need to give us a review of what has changed, how much horsepower it has, the final tire size, gearing etc. Let us know how well it drives. You should do a final video showing how well it does off road and then get it stuck so you can call Matt and Ed to get you out.
You really got it together quickly Paul, good work!👍
Not many people bring a flame thrower to a birthday party. That bumper you made will outlast all of us.
Have loved watching every episode of this build, going to look great when it's finished up!
You have done such a good job on Ed's jeep. I am getting so excited for him to get it. He is a lucky guys to have all of you as his friends.
That was great work getting the final improvements before going to Robby's. Then the winch should be just exactly what Ed will need if he ever gets ambitious and gets it stuck. The handoff was a great sight to see happen after all this time and effort.
It's really amazing how many views an comments you guys get your fan support is crazy good for you Paul is a extremely hard talented worker Michele is Michele an we love her for that an it's great seeing the boys helping pops learning his skills keep truck guys
Well done on the Nugget! She's gonna be a solid little ride thanks to your effort!
Have watched ever video of the golden nugget, including when Matt went out to see where it was located at. Can’t wait to see it done and when Ed gets it back.
I can't wait to see Ed's Golden Nugget fully finished!
So happy to see you pass Ed's jeep off to Robbie, now you can work on YOTA. We love your channel.
I’ll tell y’all what I get excited every time y’all drop a video just makes my day awesome !!!!!!
Great job Paul and crew!! I can hardly wait to see it after Robby gets done with it! Ed is going to be a happy camper. Keep up the great work everyone, love your videos. Stay safe everyone. Jim
So. The front bumper is worth more than Ed paid for the car originally. This is a great thing that y’all are doing for him. Y’all are all right!!

To say that what you guys are doing with this build is very cool is a serious understatement.
Ed's LJ20 videos have been a success for your channel, congratulations Fab Rats great work!
My wife and I have been hooked on watching from recovering it, to the build on Ed’s vehicle. I’ve subscribed to your channel as well. 👍🏽awesome work
It's amazing how quickly you get these awesome build's done 👍
What a great story. I have followed every episode and loved them . Looking forward to Robbie’s part and then back to you. Amazing work.
Paul you and your family are awesome!!! Can't wait to see what Robbie does with the Golden Nugget. Ed will be sooo blown away! This entire group of men and their families are just the best!
I am so stoked to see this golden nugget get finished. Robby does some great work.
Can't wait to see Ed getting his nugget back :)
Can not wait to see Ed’s reaction once it’s complete love watching all you videos along with Matt and Robbie you guys couldn’t align everything any better
I love how you, Robbie and Matt are like a little community of RUclips content. Your videos are educational, entertaining, and really make me feel like part of the family. Thanks for all you all do out there.
I want to live where you live. Any place that still uses the word shindig has to be a great place.
You guys are awesome.
The amount of work you have put into this in just a couple of months with minimal amout of help while doing other projects is mind blowing, you should definitely be proud of yourselves 👍👍👍👍
Congratulations on the great progress guys.... Ed's going to flip out ! wonderful editing Michelle !
Great job just really great work 👏 👍 you made Ed and all of our times much appreciated! Can't wait for the next project
Most of your part is finally done! Now it is in the hands of Robby and his crew to make it pretty!
I love how you guys in your area work together and support each other here on you tube whilst support your businesses us the fans are the true winners also shows the world if all of our businesses work together with our individual specialties we can keep work local and even attract work from outside our local area. Congrats Fab Rats, Matt's Off Road , Robbie Layton and TrailMater.
Individually you are all great together You are AWESOME.
I absolutely love that you guys all work together! I can't wait to see it all done!
Yes, and even a shout out to vice grip garage...👍🇨🇦🇺🇲
You guys are doing a great job keep up the strong work!
Watching at 620am uk. You've brightened the no sleep morning.
OMG the intro “does it have brakes? Nope! 😂
I can’t believe people are selling fake Fab Rats merch! 😡😡
Killer job on that front bumper!!!
Can’t wait to see it finished!
Congratulations on a fine job on the Golden Nugget everybody’s pulling together and it’s turning out fantastic
Great job on that little beast! I am always amazed at how tiny it is when you can see it in a way that puts it in perspective.
I must say, you guys are doing an amazing job on the Golden Nugget. Ed will be over the moon when he finally sees it. I am proud to see such humanity in such real down to earth people. Well done.
I love seeing all the angles of the birthday party over 3 weeks spand it's awesome
That was a lot of work! Reveal day is gonna be awesome!
Sad when good people like y'all get smeared by trash like that. We as viewers appreciate that you take the time to tell us. Part of what makes the FabRat family special. Thanks for being one of the best little corners of the internet.
