For now what I see about Apple Intelligence is: Mail App doesn’t have categories on Mac and iPad, only iPhone; Image playground is extremely limited and very bad at creating anything with people, also blocks basically everything you try. Even blocks anything that has a non English word in the prompt (Chernobyl, Baba Yaga, Jack Russell Terrier, etc…). Trying to sketch and improve your sketch fails most of the time and requires a prompt, but then it loses most of what you were trying to sketch; Siri is still pretty bad and not able to be your assistant; Writing tools sometimes change the meaning of your writing, other times work for some stuff, still needs a lot of training; Summaries work sometimes, but not if there are non English words in the text. Happens a lot either way emails that have more than one language; Any image related generation still uses a lot of processing power and it’s not optimized, it kills the battery really fast. But at least the handwriting on iPad is good with the refine feature, as long as you don’t let it on automatic, otherwise your battery goes down very fast and the iPad gets really hot.
Look. There is nothing to enjoy. Really. It’s just a gimmick. If you want serious AI assistance get a chatGPT subscription and forget about Apple and their big announcements followed by disappointing implementations.

New 18.2 features not available on my iPhone 14 pro. Although email categories is now implemented. Not a big deal as most of them I can manage without.
I upgraded to the iPhone 16 Pro Max and I love the phone. But the camera control button doesn’t do anything for me and the ai features so far don’t do anything for me either. Maybe it’s because I’m 66, but for me in everyday situations it’s a miss so far.

I don't like how you can only use the emoji's in texting. You can't use them on snapchat, any other app, or even in the contact name on our phones. Other apps I can understand but not allowing us to use the custom emojis for a contact is just strange.

Stock emojis are Unicode characters. The genmoji doesn’t generate an emoji, it actually generates stickers. (At least for apps like WhatsApp).

If you are not into AI, I suggest skipping 18.2 because issues will probably surface. The next update after that will probably iron it out.
