I'm not too great at games and I beat this game many times as a kid, on a regular old gray brick Game Boy with the terrible screen and everything, I loved it. This game lets you build up tons of health as long as you don't die, the mess tent levels were rough but I could usually scrape by with some health left.
The Mess Hall owned my fucking soul!!!!! I really hated that part with a passion. I haven't played this game in ages, so it was good to see it again. Despite how tough it was for me, I had tons of fun with it. Thanks for the upload.

I remember a guy in school gave me the lone of his game boy with this game for a weekend when i was ten, i played it solid from Friday evening until Sunday when i completed it, that damn mess hall was the hardest part. This game was difficult. I had the bust the game genie out to complete it. I got this game in early June 1992. I managed to reach the Lunch Mess Hall fairly quick but got stuck in the broccoli section for awhile. Eventually I got farther in the game. By mid September I managed to reach the Dinner Mess Hall. But then got stuck in the Liver Pizza Section. It was early December when I finally made it to the Prune Ice Cream section and I managed to breeze past that with no problem. Very late December I think is when I got up to the camp fire section, and I only managed to get that far once. Usually I’d lose many lives in the mountain section. I finally got Game Genie during Easter break 1993. I used the game genie and beat the game.
This seems to be one of those odd games you would find in your collection as a kid for a year. I can only get to the mess hall before they start throwing stuff...then I cant see it.

Oh man, i remember this game from when i was very young :) It was a pretty hard game. I did finish it though, after intense hours. I remember the bees shocked me, one-hits you no matter how much energy you have. Very nice run, you nailed it!!

Decent game. Too bad about the theme song looping throughout the whole game. It was pretty darn difficult too! The killer bees were a real pain in the ass.

Me siento identificado en parte con lo que expones. Aunque no llegaría a catalogarlo de malo, el juego no deja de ser un título mediocre explotando una franquicia, pero he de reconocer que en su día lo disfruté bastante. Hoy en día me produce nostalgia y buenos recuerdos, más que nada porque me evoca detalles de mi vida unidos a este juego. Eso sí, no considero que supusiera un obstáculo en mi vida, al margen de su calidad. Si no hubiera sido este juego, hubiera sido otro. Tampoco creo que hubiese sido capaz de realizar un análisis más profundo en su día. Simplemente era un niño que quería entretenerse. Hoy en día sí que selecciono mucho mejor los productos que consumo, pero porque ya tengo una edad y cierta capacidad de crítica.

This is one of the few games I was able to complete. Not very had but patience needed. Once I finished it, I never wanted to play again. It sucked overall, as you can see. In my verion you could hear ( very poorly) "Stop it Bart" when you threw a boomerang at Lisa and "Eat my shorts" when you got hit by enemy.
I remember finishing this game once...I recall getting to 22:48 and thinking ok, what now, then I realized you flip the switch and well, that's it. Easy game to get bored with because it really is the same thing over and over and over.

I used to have this game on my lost game boy when a I was 8 years old & I manage to finish it with lots and lots of trial and error! hahaha. I didnt remember that this game was so short! only 23 min (as long as an episode). U$S 50 for that! they were making easy money back then!
I say : respect. Why ? Because yeah, the game wasn't that difficult. In fact, it's more the approximations in movements, hitboxes, which made the game difficult. I had it one old black and white gameboy. Once finished once, it was all a easy replay. But... you still did real great on that vidéo
@123TauruZ321 This was an intense game. I basically remember date by date. I got it back in June 1992. I was able to get up to 1st mess hall then but it was tough. Mid-summer I got through it Mid September - got to 2nd mess hall Late November - Finally got to Prune Ice Cream and managed to easily get to mountains Late December - Got up to campfires. And then when I got the game genie in April 1993 I just used that to beat the game.
Same here, date 9.4.2012, 01:39. I haven't really had the time to try and finish it since my Game Boy console and all my games were stolen (burglary) in my teenage years :-(

Ironfist Burns can be considered the "last boss". I guess you don't fight him directly because Bart is a child and he is an adult. Yes, it's stupid and I'd liked a different kind of fight.

¡Hola Darío! Felices fiestas y feliz año para ti también :) Esta partida es de la época en la que empecé y no las comentaba. Es un juego que tuve de pequeño y conseguí acabar tras jugar mucho. Me acordaba tanto de él, que grabé la partida directamente sin practicar ni nada. Lo tenía prácticamente todo memorizado. Lisa siempre ha sido la lista de la familia, así que le toca al pobre Bart hacer todo el trabajo, jaja. Me gustan mucho Los Simpson y eso se nota en el canal, ya que es de la franquicia que más partidas he subido (diría que 5 en total). Este título de Game Boy no es que sea una maravilla pero me trae buenos recuerdos y es divertido. Yes, I remember that game from my childhood. Along with some other games like Gremlins 2 one of the most frustrating games on the Game Boy. It‘s been 28 years or so, but I remember that I only got past the second treehouse or so. I could only beat it using Game Genie. Man, those games were really poorly designed. Gameplay is repetetive, music is repetetive and there are only a small handful of different enemies in the game. Possibly the worst Simpsons game back then.
I wonder if it's possible to jump of that cliff overlooking the camp at the very end of the game. I believe the designers would be so incompetent to allow something like that to happen.
As a kid I had Bart vs. The Space Mutants on c64 and after getting to the shopping mall level I thought that's one hard fucking game. Now about 20 years later I got this one really cheap from somewhere, can't get past the first few opponents. Well, didn't even try really 'cause the gameplay sucks. At least Bart could jump properly in Space Mutants :D

The mountain sequence from 16:10 onwards was always my personal nemesis - that's were i lost most and sometimes all of my lives.
I’m disappointed in the lack of a bear. Like that was the most hype part of the game cartridge.

This game is very well designed, but it's arcade style, it requires quick reflexes and can be brutal at times.

I think it's a problem of Visual Boy emulator. It's a pity because they were really nice and there were a few, like the "aye caramba" one.

As a kid I had Bart vs. The Space Mutants on c64 and after getting to the shopping mall level I thought that's one hard fucking game. Now about 20 years later I got this one really cheap from somewhere, can't get past the first few opponents. Well, didn't even try really 'cause the gameplay sucks. At least Bart could jump properly in Space Mutants :D
