They should build an underground tunnel with an automatic walkway (like at airports) connecting the main house to the guest house so it's all one house and easier to get from one to the other.
The problem is that realtor, Aaron Kirman, appears to let sellers set unrealistic exhorbitantly high soon-to-be unrealized list prices possibly to get the listing?
It is odd how far away the guest house is. It’s quite a distance. I always get hesitant when they only have renderings of the property. It’s not built yet. I would rather put my money towards something I can actually see. Feel.
Thanks… yeah that was definitely my favorite feature! My spec is just wrapping up drywall. I swear every time I go over there I’ve got crews running the generator, saw, etc. Even on weekends lately. Makes it impossible to film. But going to do an update soon.
I thought they put a limit on square footage on new mega mansions being built. Wasn't that why Nile Niami was saying that the house was worth so much because new mega mansions couldn't be built anymore? Or was it just cause they had the permit to host pay per view events 🤣
I live in la and am republican, while the government, taxes, laws and all that sucks its one of the most amazing places geographically and has such good restaurants, shopping, weather. There’s so much variety in the different neighborhoods beaches, busy cities w skyscraper, mountains and desert and like quieter areas like Malibu. Some of the best car shops, doctors, and experts in any field.
Bro check out villa Siena. It's listed at 177 it's not worth it ofc. But it's crazy nice as hell and killing the one. And check out "la fin" crazy nice too
It's OK. Hey Scott, I noticed that THE ONE is being used for Hollywood productions. Do you know if the owner is actually living there or just renting it out?
The only production I know of is when the house was featured in that TV series ‘Loot’ … but wouldn’t be a bad idea to rent it out for other similar uses. Last I knew he’s not able to live there yet as there is no certificate or occupancy.
These mega homes would give me the same problem I would have if I bought a mega yacht: I spent so much capital buying it I would be constantly looking for imperfections and end up feeling like a complainer and a malcontent. So what if you're the boss? If all you do is walk around pointing out problems to staff you will end up hating yourself. You would have to have fame as well as money to draw in a reliable pool of people to keep you inspired. If you think you would never get lonely in a house like this, or giant yacht, this is mistaken, unless you are on drugs or drinking a lot. One lady was alone on a yacht with a staff of 50 people while her husband was away and the massage lady said she confided in her how lonely she was on the ship. Its like buying a super expensive car, you wind up focused on the imperfections.
That’s a fascinating perspective. Would make for an interesting video to interview a few people that live in homes like this about their experience / loneliness.

That is a great idea!
I was thinking the same thing.
you think the architect makes $1+ million on these projects? the renderings are super dope for this property
Yes I believe they do! Especially if they’re doing a lot of the design work as well.
The problem is that realtor, Aaron Kirman, appears to let sellers set unrealistic exhorbitantly high soon-to-be unrealized list prices possibly to get the listing?
You need that many bathrooms if you’re hosting large parties.
True

It is a bit odd! And I agree. It’ll be tough to find a buyer who is willing to wait.
The bedroom to bathroom ratio is got damn hilarious. Love the style though
As an avid LA luxury mansion goer, I appreciate your channel!!
Glad to hear that!
Nothing can replace the one, the one is a mall, this looks quite cozy
I agree
Great report Scott. Water feature on the see through wall of the garage was impressive. What’s going on with your spec ?
Thanks… yeah that was definitely my favorite feature! My spec is just wrapping up drywall. I swear every time I go over there I’ve got crews running the generator, saw, etc. Even on weekends lately. Makes it impossible to film. But going to do an update soon.
Does the real estate training also go over renovating the first house?
The empty lot was available to rent?
Well there is (or was) an old house there…. so I guess they were trying to rent that out.
I thought they put a limit on square footage on new mega mansions being built. Wasn't that why Nile Niami was saying that the house was worth so much because new mega mansions couldn't be built anymore? Or was it just cause they had the permit to host pay per view events 🤣
I think the square footage might also be based on lot size. So a giant lot can reasonably fit a giant house.
I find the guesthouse more attractive than the main property
I agree I like the curved exterior
This makes a $30-40 million house seem somewhat affordable.
How long do you think it would take to build ? 4-6 years is my guess
Yep that’s a good guess. It’s hard telling from photos and Google earth but I don’t think there is much lot work needed. That saves some time.
I need this house
cool, how about we spilt it 50/50 and I get the guest house but only if it has 3 bedrooms and 10 baths. 🤣
@@wwgbert😂ok deal!
Personally I would have built the main house on the higher elevation into the hillside. Why would you give the guest house a better view?
Yeah I was wondering that too. Must just be less pad to work with up there.
You're probably right with the pad square footage, though a gigantic main house built into the hill overlooking everything would be pretty awesome.
Couldn't really find the same image in the map . Help !
They need to pick a better state to build these castles in.
I think so too. But nothing beats that weather in Southern California.
It’s the only place where these properties can command such prices
They could build it where you live, but they want to build these in places that aren't mostly poor people.
This mega house is perfectly fine in CA. Build your own mega house in your maga town.

@@dangelochapo8304 for sure… I did do a video on villa siena a couple weeks ago. But I’m going to do a follow up 👍🏻
@ ok cool I gotta go check it out now then
And I just watched your video on la fin . You were so right about that furniture 😂
Wow!
I thought the same thing!
no cable car to the guest house. For that price, that is a no go.
As usual, it’s overpriced because the location is not good enough AND it’s backwards to the best view.
Crazy.
Never ending stream of crazy properties in LA!
Nice $126 million mansion plan. the design of The One Bel Air is more beautiful.
I'm sure the guests will love to carry their luggage up those stairs.
😂
This estate will have manservants to do that.
a private island please
A private island in San Francisco just hit the market… $25 million!
I thought the one sold for $141 million?
It was a $126 million sale but buyer had to pay $141 million after the auction fees
I will take it. I will use Monopoly money to pay for it 😀
You mean bitcoin?! Just kidding haha
The tried to sell The One for 500mill and it sold for only 120 mill.
You need 20 bedrooms in such a house because of guests when the owner throws a party.
it is only 8 bed rooms and 20 bathrooms, I think. So more for drinking parties.
@@steffenbendel6031 Whoops, that is what I meant, bathrooms.
This can't replace The One, it's too small and sensible.

If you had that much money you'd just buy your own private island ans avoid cali like the plague.
Nile Niami really left a massive pile of trash behind
