Today we're going to roast a few multi million dollar mega mansions that are either for sale or have recently been up for sale around Bel Air, Beverly Hills, and Malibu. We've been talking about some of the most expensive homes in the world here on the channel for years but I typically take a pretty positive approach. This time, we look at some of the negatives of this higher priced homes.
I hope that you enjoy this video and if you have comments please leave them below! See you next video!

You've been watching Arvin Hadid.
You just said Arvin while I was typing. LOL
@@goodson77784 😂
Arvin is so honest… when he likes something, he mentions it… otherwise, when he sees BS, he is hilarious and still respectful… each one of his videos is a masterclass! 😅
Arvin is so cool hahaha
Arvin's videos are hilarious! He's the best.
I have been waiting for THIS kinda content!! GGs sir!! That Haddad guy is ruthless ( I get why) but you were so respectful and honest with both your opinions and the facts👏👏Nice fade hair-cut this week too sir!
@@Imposter-DJ_ROHO thanks!
I have driven by so many mega monster mansions in the hills on my bike. Totally over priced and unrealistic. Save your money.
@@ronlokk sounds like a fun place to ride a bike though!
Save your money?😂 As if the buyers of the homes are that concerned with the price tags if their truly happy with it
I actually learned a lot watching this video. Very informative while being a lot of fun.
Half of Arvin's videos are basically questioning why Enes isn't doing all the due diligence for the buyer. If you pay $14 million for a house and don't at least drive by the property to see that there's a railroad a quarter mile away, that's your own fault.
It’s crazy that for these mega price tags they can’t include a damned elevator!
Not a fan of wardrobe and bathroom in the same room without separation - all I think about its the mould that could grow.
The second house with the lines in the ceiling wasn’t HVAC diffusers - it’s recessed track lighting. What you saw hanging down was the directional lighting heads.
@@rangerrecon ahh ok that makes more sense
@@Real.Estate.Report Yeah I stumbled across them when looking for recessed track lighting. I liked the tracks, but the light fixtures for them just looked bizarre to me.
The first house was a DISASTER
As a person working on finishing my degree in architecture, love designing and studying real estate, I learned so much watching by watching these videos and understanding people perspectives.
I’m also heavily interested in architecture and it’s studies and I was wondering what are the main keys points you have come across which make a difference and as you say understanding peoples perspectives?
Thanks
I'm always down for a good roasting😂
Totally enjoyed this format.
Totally agree. Gillen houses look dated and the finishes don't look good enough for $40 mil+. For $3,500,000 houses it would be ok, but $40 mil?
Enes did a tour of 1859 Bel Air. He does a good job (as always) showing the layout, how you approach the front door, etc... Keep up the good work!
It wasn't an emerald wall, it was jade. tbh i thought it looked awesome
As a property investor myself, I totally appreciate your critiques.
I watch Arvin. He’s great.
@@Sue.e.e he’s entertaining for sure
Nice criticism of mansions to balance the report on mansions. The Orum mansion looks more like an art project, than a home for people to live. The Oklahoma mansion is a tare down because it is to personalized. I like the use of airspace in houses, I like three and four stories houses, I do not mind exercising climbing stairs. A one story house is a waste of airspace.
Its like the One property worst structure in Bel Air total eye sore
@@Giggidygiggidy12 The one is one of a kind that’s for sure
This material is Brazilian green jade onyx.
@@Yuma310X ahh yes. I couldn’t think of it
I think you should do more of these Arvin style reaction videos to add to your repertoire. Its all good.
Scott, I was looking for any news on Diplo's hill top Jamaican home after hurricane Beryl passed... It was my only concern with his open house design, way up high by the coast🇯🇲🙏🏾
@@dinodinosaur2930 Hadn’t thought of that. Built of concrete, probably ok. Hopefully…
You should do a video on Jim Jannard Malibu house
At 5:25 if you look at the back end of the shower, sort of hidden behind the side of the glass you can see what appears to be a hose for a handheld showerhead. Still, that image couldve been taken better
I don’t agree about 11490 Orum Road. Houston looks amazing and features everything anybody’d want
Do more of these
The Y building might be a matter of price although heat might also be tricky. Those Case houses have low quality visualizations which is strange for top dollar houses. They are ok but it's so so architecture, not something to justify 9 figures. Who would pay 61million for 1million dollar architecture and why were they all taken off the market just now. There is a 4½year old video on Scott's channel where they were well into construction and a 3 year old on Unvarnishedco where they were closer to completion so why were they trying to sell them now with old low quality renderings. Aren't they all done. Seems strange.
I like this marble way more than the bathrooms you see in those crazy expensive NYC high rises. It feels unique and not cookie cutter rich person.
@@moneystrb22 good point
5:17 bro those are the lighting fixtures
So glad you didn't do it like Arvin does. Frankly i think he's a dick. He attacks the presenters and the content rather than just critiquing the property. He's trying to make a channel based of the hard work of others. A dick move. Instead you went out and sourced properties to critique rather than other youtubers. That the right way to go about it.
Ornum bathroom looks like a locker room
@@PachinkoMedia 😂
The key takeaways from this are:
Arvin might/should get copywrite strikes from Enes etc especially for vids that reupload and "react to"/ mock active listings that Enes is paid by the sellers/brokers to promote
Rainshower heads are hotgarbage gimmicks. The best shower is wall mounted above head height and removable so if you want to shower your feet/ dog/ kids you can do so without getting soaked.
Rant over.🌬☁☁
The Stanley Ave house interiors is such a disaster.. And I always wonder how such experienced people like the Williams did such a bad job
LOOOOOOOVE ARVIN!!
In a weird way I like that house on Stanley. But building an "art piece" house (which all of these homes are) is always going to lower demand. And in the $40 million to $100+ million price range only 3 to 10 people in the city are looking to buy at any given time. That means if none of those 3 to 10 people like it, its sitting on the market. I couldn't imagine risking investor money like that. Developers like Todd Glaser have the formula down, keep things luxurious and one of a kind, but not offensive to the senses.
Arvin is awesome
I would not live in any of these monstrosities for any amount of money. 😂
Scott not a big fan of living in a shopping mall. 🤷♂😂😂😂😂
@@Mike_Davidson lol nope not at all!
YOud have a FIELD day in AUstralia man. Some absoloute shockers.
@@thedappercook Will have to dig up some listings!
5941 Red Rock Lake Rd
Edmond, OK 73013
Is this an old listing for the Oklahoma house? Looks like it's been tweaked
There are many out there that really really need to go to design school. Art school. Most of these are poor design. Ugly too. The one in Oklahoma is atrocious! Really ugly! It’s like whoever designed this huge monstrosity didn’t have any sense of design/color! So ugly! Less is usually more! When it comes to good clean design. Not more is more. The old saying goes, “many rich people don’t have any good taste in things”.
This house is fwatured on the tv show Altmans lisiting it dold for think 12 million want think 15 mill
I was watching Arvin for a while, but it's kind of getting old. I don't mind him being honest about the houses, but sometimes he is a little snarky about the RUclipsrs who spent the time actually shooting these videos It is a lot of work. I think he should have a little more respect for the people who are spending their time making content on houses for him to critique. They also have to find nice things to say about the houses, or they will never be invited to other houses, and then they won't have anything to talk about.
Copying others?
That guy Arvin is a hater. Always dumping on Enes. It seems personal for him.
@@DORSEYLANDRIA I agree it does feel a bit excessive
I think Arvin does a good job of calling out Enes's BS.
I enjoy watching Enes videos but he does go over the top sometimes and calling him out on that is not hating.
Does this comment about Arvin make you a hater?
Honestly you sound quite weird compared to arvind
He is just way more patient and observing unlike you
@@Jawad.dbysndbbz 😂 thanks for the feedback
14:17 how the hell do you transport that chandelier?
@@Pyriel2 I have a friend who is a glass blower actually. He has made similar (smaller) light fixtures. They are transported in pieces and assembled on site. Wild!
