Prof. Snyder’s talk is enlightening as always. I find it appalling that after 2.5 years, we still remain even unable to admit our misconception of this war.
put him on the frontline
@@tuckerbugeater He IS on the frontline, raising awareness &💰
A true freedom fighter. What are YOU doing for humanity?
Nothing surprises me anymore.

This has been really revealing. Slava Ukrainia and thankyou
Great moderator. Very professional journalist. Thank you.
Professor Snyder is a voice of reason.
Great panel but the lady presenter has the biggest balls! Very direct and no nonsense questions 👏
Excellent discussion. Thank you
Great panel. Host did a good job too. Could've listened for many more hours.
Thank you! Very insightful! Stand with Ukraine! 🇺🇦
Great talk with a great panel on the most important topic of our lifetime! Give it more time!
As always I agree 100% with Timothy Snyder.
@@marisabenson1222 I agree, with one exception: defense economics and Russia's rapidly dwindling supply of soviet era materiel, with woefully inadequate and expensive replacement manufacturing. Russia simply doesn't have the equipment to last much longer, even with PRK
Great panel discussion thank you
What an amazing line up of specialist speakers. Thank you for sharing and uploading this. 🙏 🇺🇦
Very informative and worthwhile discussion.
Important discussion!
Thank you!
These are great conference panels. Duzhe dyakuyumo Victor Pinchuk Foundation.
How admirable nature can condensate wisdom and reason in one human like T. Snyder! We understand the history of Ukrainian nation and why they so heroically opposes Russians aggression and Russians carnage in Ukraine, listening his explanations!! Glory and victory to Ukraine!
🇺🇦🇺🇲 HEROYAM SLAVA!
@@mianilsson3550 glory and peace to Ukraine ! Stop war mongering
@@nerin3624 they will ask for peace and there will be no peace
"Russia will fall anyway" is the panel summed up in one succinct line.
Bravo.
Great panel!
Great talk btw. Timothy Snyder is fantastic as always.
The most important thing for our leaders is not just to show support for Ukraine but to show strength and resolve in that support by insisting on victory. This can only be achieved by not handicapping Ukraine. If leaders show reluctance, hesitance or ambivalence that is born of fear then it conveys the cause is not righteous. But the cause is righteous as it is essential. They are us. The coming US election in 51 days has a constraining influence on these matters but starting in 52 days from now that support for Ukraine must become far more forceful. While we probably don’t want to see Russia collapse the reign of Putin MUST end.
You are absolutely right. Do you have a plan how to do it?
@@dinaf1409plans are easy, implementation is hard. And there is no way to prevent anarchy if the wrong plan is acted on
Unhinged comment.
Εxcellent , informative session of great well known people!,,

Good speakers. Good introduction (mind reading). I’m hooked
Thank you for an excellent forum.
Amazing ! Thank you
Great journalist!
We have let Putin call the shots and set the rules of engagement. So far in this war, he has been in control. That has to change.
100% 🇸🇪💞🇺🇦
❤️☀️🇨🇦🇺🇦⭐️💪🌍
Concerning the conceptional issue:
Already right in the beginning of the war in 2022 the wording went wrong.
Why do we call it "The Ucrainian war"??. It is not the Ukrainians war! It is PUTINS war!
Why don't we not name the war after the agressor? So that Putin is mentioned every time when there is talking about his war? So that we always realise who the ennemy is.
I'm convinced that the the right wording - talking about Putins war - would have lead to other, better decisions right away!
Lets start name the war in the rigt way, please!
because putin has many wars. most in Africa
Pity the rest of Europe is not as united in there support as we are and have always been in the UK
We are NOT united at all. Ignorant people say why to help Ukraine, we have our own problems.
@@dinaf1409 Brexiteers are the only morons who think this war is not their problem. grow up
Thank you. I hope the video picks up speed and spreads widely.
General Petraeus sounds very smart! I am glad he has been in a position of authority! (oh, also seems like a good person to me so far as well) JD Vance sounds the opposite. SLAVA UKRAINI 🇺🇦🇺🇲
the republicans are already shooting at trump, how long after becoming president would Vance have Trump conveniently assassinated? 😢
Good substance but baffling presentation. 🙁
"Green Fire", London, UK
The world needs much more of these conferences to stave off more wars and conflicts which may lead to Armageddon. Kudos to all the speakers.
Is our government listening?
@@dinaf1409given how many members of govts were present and even on the stage, yes
Mrs Ollongren failed as minister of the interior before she got the defence dept for political reasons. She didn't give Def the needed and expected boost and is one of the drip-drip-drips... Fortunately small countries like the Baltic states and Denmark prove it is possible to have a great impact (while being small)
Great panel. It would have been interesting to ask how long they think it will take until the 25 Air Defense Systems required by UA are provided

As always, my scattered scattered mind, struggling for coming up on three years, is summarized by the MOST honorable Prof. Snyder in 3 minutes, beginning at 12:10
"What has been the reason for the timidity?"
I hope his elimination of my soul ripping cognitive dissonance doesn't make my poetry suck, but if it does, so be it. UKRAINE MUST WIN!!!
SLAVA UKRAINI, GLORY TO THE HEROES 🙌💪 🇺🇦❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
This is a poem dedicated to eliminating my own reflexive narcissism, and making it all about the ones whose actions speak beyond words, all the Ukrainian men and women on the front. I love you all 💙💛
"who I am, who I'm not"
Despite all the things I've paid for, all the things I've bought
All it's done is prove to me what I'm not
I'll say it to my grave, say it because it's true
I'll never be a hero when I compare myself to you
Money will never win this war
Even though greed is how it started, taking is all they fight for
Empty shells keep falling at your feet
No, not the brass ammo
The soulless skeletons, slaves to their "elite"
It doesn't matter how many pennies I continue to give
All that matters is that you fight, fight to live
Evil triumphs when the good do nothing to stop the flood
Money can't pick up a rifle, or sacrifice priceless blood
The truth is I can give everything I own
And never be anything when I see how freedom is sown
It's not me, it's you, down in the trenches
Let the politicians argue or sit pleasantly on golden benches
I listen to them talk on and on
While heroes fight and die
But I'll never stop teaching truth over the lie
No one on earth is as good as you
No one compares, that's what's true
That's what's true
I'll do my best, what I can
But all I have is nothing, compared to the better man.
...and the women? Don't even get me started
So many of the best have already departed
Thank God for my sweet Bakhmut love
Who even when she reads this will point me to above
"God is in control" she says as she loves me for who I am, who I'm not
Praising every second she's alive, reminding me what I forgot
Life is so precious, don't waste a single second
Accept the love to which you're beckoned
Open your heart, don't you fear
Love is eternal, so wipe away every tear
Come my love, let's forget the darkest things
I just want to look in the sweetest eyes and know that love covers everything
Heaven is never ending
While the earth is bought and sold
"God is in control"
"God is in control"
My sweet angel, my best friend
All I can answer...
"God has blessed me with you"
Amen 🙏
I like the first part which ends with "But all I have is nothing, compared to the better man."
I would have liked all of it if it ended there.
@@domprz1 thank you 🙏 let's do our best to make sure Ukraine WINS!
@@domprz1 judgment is judgment. The poem is part universal, part personal. Thank you for reading it to the end, life is life, and not everything we wished it would be. I can't correct the reflexes of my heart, I stopped judging myself because love told me to. 🙏🙌🇺🇦🕯️🕊️❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
@@timstocking1111 Our common perspective is Ukraine hence the 1st part matched mine. The 2nd part didn't. However I have no doubt that the people who know you loved it and remember they are far more valuable to you than I am. The only thing which distinguishes us is our individuality (the highest value asset of freedom.) Judgement is often a form of tunnel vision or bigotry. With respect from me.
@@domprz1 "love covers everything." Anyone who knows me knows I truly believe this. Thank you for your kind thoughts. Glory to Ukraine and its heroes 🙌🇺🇦❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

Go the Netherlands…..we have a special relationship going back I suppose to Abel Tasman! I Love the Netherlands!
1 month later 22-Oct. and still not allowing Ukraine to use USA & allies, long range weapons
General Petraeus desperately trying to defend the U.S. foot dragging while stating his position on Ukraine which appears to be supportive of Ukraine.
Is our government listening to this panel?
A vote for trump is a vote for putin.
a vote for trump is a vote for Vance. Trump won't live past the firdt month of presidency, the republicans are already using him for target practice
Petraeus is a polititian, thru and thru. Instead of him, ben hodges should have been there.
I would love to hear him and hodges andwer snyder's questions
No need to use tactical nuclear missiles when you are winning. Ukraine never had a real chance of defeating Russia.
“Drip, drip and wobbly” doesn’t even cut it. It’s simply cowardice.
That lady with the short hair is hard to take seriously
There is no Ukrainian defence industry left and the power grid has been wrecked. These speakers live in a fantasy world.
so you are ignoring the big kabooms caused by "falling debris" then?
@@HomeFromFarAway Not sure what you're talking about. Does Ukraine still get supplied with drones that it uses to blow up stuff in Russia? Sure it does. It can't produce them itself.
