Connecticut also has a history of severe witch hunts. It was the first American colony to execute a witch, Alse Young, who lived in Windsor. And in fact, the witch trials in Connecticut were more deadly than Salem, in terms of rate of conviction for those accused. If you were indicted as a witch in Connecticut, there was a one in three chance you’d be hanged, compared to one in ten in Salem. These trials only stopped (partially) when the Governor of Connecticut stepped in. His name was John Winthrop Jr., and he was an alchemist in his spare time, owning the largest collection of books about occult magic in New England.

Someone finally talked about this war! Honestly I found it really weird how my home state had territorial dispute with another state that wasn't even connected to it and surprised barely anyone talked about it
I have a similar situation. I've lived in Upstate New York since I was 2 years old and I didn't learn about the Anti-Rent war until after graduating High School. There was a historical marker on a backroad my family used to use but other than that, I'd never even heard of it dispite living within a 30 minute drive of pretty much every theatre of the conflict. If it's not 1776, Lexington/Concord, Gettysburg, WWII or Vietnam, most Americans don't really care.
I knew of states like Michigan having their little war dispute with Wisconsin but I never knew that my state went to war with Connecticut three times... Also your humor slaps throughout this video, there wasn't a moment that I wasn't finding myself smirking or laughing. Your editing style is amazing too.

Case Western Reserve University in OH is actually named after Connecticut's Western Reserve, territory it also held claim to because of the whole "land to the Pacific Ocean" thing. They actually held onto that territory after the PA debacle until it sold it off in 1800. They donated all the land west of that to the federal government in 1796

Michigan's 23 year old governor, Stevens Mason, sent over 100,000 men to war over like a 10 mile strip of land that happened to contain Toledo, Michigan at the time. Michigan ceded this land to Ohio in exchange for the majority of US's side of the Lake Superior lake shore and actual statehood
