Facts, I highly doubt any actual survivor of domestic abuse is as non-fearful and insulting as she appears in these recordings.

THANK YOU. This is something I’ve thought so many times during this trial! If Johnny was so ruthlessly violent there’s no way Amber would’ve been so confident as to treat him the way we have seen/heard. She definitely doesn’t sound like a traumatized victim.
Or she might have done it to him and claimed 'self defence' cause he was under the influence of drink and drugs, worse the weapon of choice may even have been the gift of the knife!

Regardless of the court verdict, JD has won the public verdict of NOT guilty of physical abuse. However, I think he has a more than 50% of getting a guilty verdict against AH. If she is found guilty she will file for bankruptcy almost immediately.

If Amber Heard was afraid of Johnny, if it was Amber being physically abused, wouldn't it be her that was trying to run away? Her story just doesn't make any sense.
I know for a fact if Johnny was on record saying Amber tried to “run away every time they argued before blows are thrown even” he would be in a prison they built for him and bury him under it.
But he's a man; men can "take it" because even though we're repeatedly told women are mentally stronger than men and more resistant to pain than men, men are the ones who have to actually put up with a practical application of stress and pain in the eyes of the justice system because women are to be protected even if they're genuine monsters, so long as they cry, peal and whine convincingly enough or - in Amber's case - are pretty enough.

for Depp's team to win they need to prove that Amber's statement in the op ed was about him, she admitted it was. They need to prove it was false, which all the evidence points to. (Nothing Amber can come up with has any merit.) They need to prove that Amber intended to damage Depp's reputation with the statements. She published them twice, first when she wrote it and then again on Twitter, and is it not obvious that labeling someone as an abuser will damage their reputation? Even so, there's still evidence of that. The first amendment does NOT protect defamatory statements, if proven to be false. So her team cannot use that as an excuse.
If Amber's team wants to win they have to find ANY evidence of Depp abusing her. Nothing they have is solid. The photos were proven to be fake, it's been proven Amber used make-up to create bruises on her face. (She admitted it when she said "Bruise kit" which is what actors use to create bruises for movies. The texts they showed have no merit because Johnny never admitted to being physically violent in any of them, only vaguely apologizing. He could be referring to taking drugs, or yelling at Amber (not abuse because what are you supposed to do if she's hitting you?) The video Rottenborn showed of Johnny smashing the cabinets, again no violence towards Amber. Half of Rottenborn's argument was quoting Amber Heard's testimony, without evidence to back up what he or she said. I don't recall Vasquez quoting Depp's testimony, and everything she said she backed up with proof. Audio tapes, pictures, multiple non-contradicting witness statements, etc.
It's pretty clear who's gonna win the case.
I've kept an eye on this ever since 2020 and forgot about the trial happening in 2022. It's really hard to know how much Johnny Depp had to endure and I can't comprehend why this would go uncheck for so long but I'm glad he's managed to get alot of support and I hope he gets the justice he deserves. He's long overdue for it and most of us can agree: no one deserves to get abused.

@@AmyThrash i can't know for sure but i don't think she can feel emotions in many cases, so she does what is logical and close to hand. A common narcissist trait is lack of awareness for consequences, they grab what they think is beneficial with no hesitation

A lot of people here won't really understand 100% what it feels like being with someone like Amber...I've been there and I can conclusively say these kind of people are sick...they will turn EVERY thing you say or do against you and make you apologise for their own wrongs...to feel secure they will constantly attack your confidence and when they can see and feel that you are down then they feel powerful and better with themselves...in fact that's when they begin to show you some caring...it's really sickening
Exactly .. my 1st husband was like that. At one point I thought I was going crazy but I wasn't and found enough strength left to pull myself up & eventually leave him.
Women like Amber are alot more common than people think. Being rich and famous doesn't preclude you from the car ival of crazy that exists in the world, it's just that he's one of the few that has the money and resources to defend, protect and redeem themselves. The vas majority of us leftovers aren't so lucky.

JD settled 100 million dollars on Vanessa when he left her. Amber probably expected to get something in that range, too. She wasn't the mother of his kids, but I'm sure that didn't stop her from expecting it.

Listening to the recordings reminded me of my ex-wife. She is on her sixth marriage and she would tell people she was beat during each marriage.
Oh my god, my husbands family member is in her sixth marriage too and she beat, spit on, and cheated on all the previous husbands. Afterwards though she would claim it was all them, she never did anything wrong. Sadly her mother would believe her each time. Sick, and twisted.
You could see Johnny reliving the trauma when she mentioned amber calling him a deadbeat dad and while the recordings were playing. Actually looked like he was fighting to keep his composure.
I think listening to it over affected Camille as well. I think she kept blinking while the audio was playing to keep her eyes from watering.
Listening to what Johnny was subjected to was heart wretching.
