    You just took overcomplication to a whole new level...

    A little bit overpowered.
    Flashlights everywhere, PCB everywhere (do you need 3 PCB for the remote? Why not 3D printing a case?), but what I don't understand is why there are microcontrollers everywhere.
    Why all of this electronic? Why are you using relay? You showed at least 15 relays in your video.
    Why are you using a cable to power the robot while we can see batteries and what it seems to be a power regulator (fuse, capacitor, transistor)?
    How can you program all of your ships if they are already soldered to the PCB? Are they logic gates?
    Why are you using an Arduino Uno? (0:24)? Maybe a Mega for all this I/O?
    If you're using a camera, why not using a raspberri Pi?

      Those relay, and other microC might be just gates, cuz he has a lot of LED, but I don't really know what the Us sensor did

    so the only one function is a lot of blinking leds? its not very difficult to do such robot. because there is no logic in its movements

    Did that robot loaded with sensors and really cool wheels and all that gobbledygook just run into a wall? Seriously? How could you not program that distance a bit better?

    nice robot, but why too many led? to make it cool? try something new dude!, and how about "multi functional?", i can't see any function on this robot!! maybe you can add some cool module, like flame sensor/pir/ldr or etc? maybe making project like me, i have idea to make my robot wake up after light cut and give us some light or adding alarm for flame or gas detection, and i have project to controlling my robot via web server anywhere, so i can see every room on my home when im travelling, only with the ip cam+ ethernet shield :D that's multi functional!!! sry but your robot is not a multi functional, someone comment "it's cool robot" because they don't know anything about arduino. i say "nice robot" because i like the wheels :v

      Cara Amar OK, send me a link to ur own to ur own project

    • @CaraAmar
      @CaraAmar 8 лет назад +1

      i'll upload it if done, i need some component to make my robot ready. It simple, i can control my robot from anywhere with internet connection, not cheap, but i will keep buying. Till now, my robot can only detecting temerature, detecting hearth pulse, auto on 2x5v led when light out and the light+ gas detector with alarm(this all module is cheap dude, try it and your robot will be a multi functional stuff). I reassemble my robot for IoT project, wait till im done ok? sry if my english so bad

    Man with all them goddamn electronics crowding the circuit boards I'd expect that thing to go fetch the morning paper, make a martini, and give the dog a bath...and you mean to show all it can do is roll around and avoid bumps and collisions and flash an led or two?
    What a piece of junk.

    a robot on wheels should be WIRELESS! you're dissapointing!

  • @MarcTBG
    @MarcTBG 7 лет назад

    I am certainly proud of you guys for being able to complete your design, however, I feel this is a grossly over-designed robot that will waste a tonne of power. That same automaton could've be made smaller and more power efficient with fewer IC's (waste heat): a single FPGA, coupled with a few level shifters could be used if low level logic was required for your assignment.

    Should put the circuit diagram online and let an older person figure out how to subtract several circuit pathways. I would not mind working with you in the future. Send me an email for a reminder.

    Hey Robo tronics your ptojects are just amazing. pls can u make a 6 in one car, which has 6 modes. m1- remote controlled ,m2- ir controlled, m3- obstackle avoiding robot ,m4- distance sensing robot, m5- hoverboat ( i mean a boat) which can run on water, and if u can m6- drone. Everything is controlled wirelessly (with nrf24l02 radio module) .The remote shiuld have a lcd which shows the mode number and the mode name ( i mean like m1- remote control , m2- ir control).
    It should have a push button to change the mode. It should be light weight. Everything should be made of geared dc motors. It should be based on arduino. The remote should contain two joysticks to move the robot. Pls it would be a great help for me if u could do this. Thank you

      I have only one problem.....How did you send so much data over bluetooth and then read it? like how do you send 2 pot values and then separate them? what i am trying to say is that how do you control 2 servos with 2 pots over bluetooth? like i don't know....if you could help me that will be great! thank you! you the best
