@@slowtyper95 The tactile touch is right at the beginning of the stem's travel, not at the middle like other common switches, for example Brown (Well, Brown feel like linear to me by the way). Ocean Blue is light with just 40-45g tactile force and sound kinda loud unlubed, you can even hear the springs. While Lavender Purple is medium with 50-55g and a much more pleasant clack sound.

@@nadtz no, you need to lube them you can't get away with unlubed budget switches, however these akkocs are pretty smooth stock,the problem is spring ping tho.. you could just lube the springs but if you're going through that effort just take the time to lube

Love how they are compatible with outemu pcb since I only have them for now hha. I dont have to mod every single of the switch like gateron to fit it in. I love tactile switches so I got the blue one. Very nice for the price!
What you can do if you have a cheap hot swap outemu board is buy these switches (it fits in outemu hot swap sockets) lube them, replace the top of the akkos with the top of the outemus(for pure ranbow puke) Ps: for lubing switches you need to open the switch witch a kailh opener not cherry ok

I have a cheap mechanical keyboard with outemu blue, i have it for like 4 years! After very intense use, some of the switches are not "clicky" anymore! Can i change them with these ones? Or are these for some exclusive keyboards?
Hi so im switching from mobile to mechanical keyboard,and I was wondering linear would be a good choice for me,but I think tactile will be better for not me typing accidentally.If tactile please recommend a tactile switch that's a little light for my teenager fingers with an actuation force of 40-50 grams,i would not mind bottom out but could be 55-62 grams

They sound much better after lube. But man that amount of lube really triggered me, it's like 4 times what i usually put on my switches haha. But each to their personal preferences though, and seem you're using a thinner lube than mine (205g0).
I do prefer my switches lubed pretty heavily, and I do think that G-Lube is thinner than 205g0, it’s been described as close to Tribosys 3204, which is in between 205g0(linear recommended) and 203g0/3203(tactile recommneded). Appreciate the comment though!
I think yiu should try to outemu I personally actually prefer them over cherry brown i know cherry brown sucks but just saying its abit scratchy but i still like it that is has more bump and its like ariund 10$ for 70 switch so might as well try
I have already ordered all the swtiches and picking up a 3068 v2 with CS Pink. This switch looks like screams value! And, speaking of value, I do agree. I can't think of any tactile swtiches that cheap! Gat browns and Cherry browns feel meh! Regarding Spring lubing, do u think Bag lubing with super lube be okay for these switches like the other MX Style switches? And speaking of switch sound, they sound quite clacky, similar to switches based on halo True Stem. I have a board with FL.CMMK pink switches that sound almost as clacky as this!
I'm not sure if bag lubing the springs will work, because I personally haven't tried it before, since I usually lube my switches over the course over a few days, but I feel like bag lubing will still help to eliminate the spring ping on these switches, and they do sound pretty clacky after lubing, and if that's what you like, then I think that these switches are great, thanks for the support!

I definitely agree! The packaging on these switches are so nice and the tray doubling as a make-shift lube station is also really nice, makes the switches feel more premium
I swapped out the stock stabilizers for Everglide Panda Stabilizers from KPrepublic, and I would say they are a solid upgrade from the stock GMMK stabilizers, but I clipped, lubed and holee-modded the stabilzers in order to improve the sound and feel of them and minimize rattle.
I haven’t tried the Rose Reds yet, but if you’re curious as to how they are, I highly recommend watching Sviz’s video on them. I do plan on reviewing the Rose Reds and the Matcha Greens in the future, so look out for that once it’s released!
At the moment, are you still on Akko Ocean Blue tactile switches? or are you back to Linear ones? Just curious since I've been with tactiles for more than a month now.

I’m not too sure if these switches can support films, as switches with a kailh style housing typically don’t support films, but these switches are still relatively tight on their own, so I personally wouldn’t feel the need to film these anyways.
these dont sound like they do in most videos. Idk if its your board but it probably is because it looks so thin. if anyone wants more sound tests i recommend looking at vids with different boards instead of making just one video the deciding video.
I bought them at a local store, but you can buy them on Tai-Hao’s website, and I think you might be able to get them on mechanicalkeyboards.com. Not sure about the latter though
As long as you avoid lubing the legs of the stem and the leaf you shouldn’t lose any tactility. I lost some because I used a brush that was too big and got some lube on the legs

@@aamirm9703 I reckon you should order the everglide stabs, and in the meantime use the stabilizers included with the GMMK, they’re alright and definitely usable while you wait for the Everglide Stabs
I would say that after lubing the switches they become slightly quieter, but they are still pretty loud for a tactile switch, so I would suggest that you try some silent tactiles instead if you don't like the sound of these switches

Yes, these switches use the same type of housing as the Kailh Box Switches, so you’ll want to pick up a switch opener that supports Kailh Style Housings

Personally, I find the Outemu blues much louder than these switches, because Outemu Blues are a clicky switch, and whilst they are both 'blue' switches, the Ocean Blues are referred to as a tactile switch, since it doesn't have either a click bar or a click jacket, but these switches are still very loud, so I'm glad that Akko decided against making these switches a clicky switch, thanks for the comment!
After testing switches with lubed sides and springs and only I personally prefer lubed sides as I find the travel to be smoother after the tactile bump, but that’s just my preference.
@@Amutomoto I used G-Lube, and while I haven’t tried other lubes yet, from watching other youtubers, I can see that it’s a thinner lube than Krytox 205g0, but I don’t know how thin it is compared to a common lube for tactiles, like 203g0. Should still give great results though!

Love these switches. These were the only switches that would fit my Redragon K530. Which are Outemu sockets. Great budget switches.
If you’re interested in linears, then the Rose Reds and the Matcha Greens will also work with Outemu Hotswap Sockets, from what I’ve heard

I’ve used the Ocean Blues since the review, and haven’t gone back to linears just yet, aside from recording a typing test with my Gateron Yellows.

I haven't tried the JWK Obsidian's. so I can't say as to how tactile they are compared to the Ocean Blues

how do u have backlight in the switch?
The switches do allow for some backlighting to come through, but not as much as a standard SMD switch

What switch opener did you use on these? I'm also new to lubing and the switch opener I have did not work on these AKKO switches

Those really sound like outemo blues
Personally, I find the Outemu blues much louder than these switches, because Outemu Blues are a clicky switch, and whilst they are both 'blue' switches, the Ocean Blues are referred to as a tactile switch, since it doesn't have either a click bar or a click jacket, but these switches are still very loud, so I'm glad that Akko decided against making these switches a clicky switch, thanks for the comment!

they said it's better not to lube the sides only lube the springs
After testing switches with lubed sides and springs and only I personally prefer lubed sides as I find the travel to be smoother after the tactile bump, but that’s just my preference.
I'm gonna lube my springs to because of the ping sound of it, what lube did you use?
@@Amutomoto I used G-Lube, and while I haven’t tried other lubes yet, from watching other youtubers, I can see that it’s a thinner lube than Krytox 205g0, but I don’t know how thin it is compared to a common lube for tactiles, like 203g0. Should still give great results though!
