Where presidential race stands 6 months out from Election Day

There are just six months until the 2024 election. A recent CBS News poll shows former President Donald Trump leading President Biden by four points among likely voters. CBS News political director Fin Gómez has more on the race, including Trump's list of potential running mates.

I even remember when Douglas Edwards delivered the news for CBS, before Walter Cronkite. CBS once meant that you could trust their reporting. But the main news story, should be how unreliable, the polls have become, as their sampling methods seem to fail to get a representative cross-section of the American voting population.
