    Don’t see many pitchers throwing 124 pitches anymore. Bro was throwing 95mph in the 9th too. You literally can’t not be impressed by that. I freakin love this team man

      He was throwing 100+ mph in college in the 9th inning and throwing guys out at the plate from center field as a two-way player, so no surprise here. ~GO Titans!

WIth Lorenzen as 6th starter, Turner and Schwarber finally waking up, Harper getting stronger by the day, and a strong bullpen, the Phillies are becoming very dangerous. Despite all this, my vote for "best in MLB" is the Atlanta Braves.

      He got a ton of action, but every one of those catches were can-of-corn routine for every Major League centerfielder.

      @@henryt9281 Nah, a lot of those would've been genuinely difficult for a lot of people. Rojas just makes them look easy because he's good at getting a read on where the ball will be as soon as it leaves the bat.

    I was not prepared to cry through an ENTIRE baseball game lol. Watching Casty hit his 200th HR, 2nd HR of the game, which ended up being the THIRD MOST important thing that happened 😂, along w/ Wes Wilson getting a HR in his 1st major league at bat w/ his whole family there, plus a no no from Lorenzen....HOW CAN YOU NOT BE ROMANTIC ABOUT BASEBALL???

    I saw the mom on the jumbo tron on tv, and she was so emotional, it was very happy to see him get a no hitter 😊

    This was a great game to watch to show the effects of fatigue on a pitcher as well. You could see the contact getting harder off him by the 7th and 8th. Prior to those innings he was absolutely dominating the hitters and they could not square anything up. It's obviously rare for managers to leave pitchers in for so long, but there was no chance he was coming out of this game.
    Given the contact in the 7th and 8th it was cool to see him completely lock in for the 9th and dominate them for the last 3 outs.

    Saw his pitch count at the end of the 8th and thought to my self that Rob might not let him out to try and finish this but i was so happy when i saw him come back out for the 9th

    Usually there is that one defensive play that secure the no-no. I'd say Bohm to Harper in the 3rd was probably it. Sure, Nationals hit a TON of fly balls, but nothing too troubling. Great no hitter. Fun to watch.

    The ONE thing this historic performance didn’t have is they signature incredible def play. There were tons of fly ball outs but there wasn’t that iconic hit saving play we usually see in these games. Either way huge props to ML he’s amazing and couldn’t be happier for the guy

    I hate the Phillies, but amazing job by Lorenzen. Congrats! Credit to the manager for letting him finish it out at 124 pitches and not making it potentially a combined (maybe) no hitter. If the Phillies were in serious contention he would have probably been pulled tho.
