Considering the issue about getting crew and later turn them in for bounty.
You can, in fact, get the dude as crew. Another player gains a bounty on that contact (which now is part of another players crew).
For that player to be able to get that bounty is to move to the player keeping the contact as crew and attack the "crew".
The player controlling the crew can opt to "defend" the crew where a PvP combat will take place instead of a player/contact combat.
If the player controlling the crew doesn't opt to defend a standard combat between the player and the contact takes place.
It's all in the rules on page: 14 of the "Learn to Play" book.
It's actually page 4 of the reference booklet. The reference booklet even saids if the learn how to play booklet contradicts the reference booklet follow the reference booklet. And if a card contradicts the reference follow what the cards saids. But if you can follow both do both.
Ah just ordered this, time to learn the rules!

The expansion will come. This was my number 1 game, the year it came out. Just out of curiosity. Why do you leave the first 15 minutes of dead air in the video. Will you edit it later?

Playing solo is punishing since AI immediately fulfills his jobs/cargo delivery and more often than not pays 8k to get 1 fame. My advice is to use Han, and get the faster starting ship. You need to outrun the AI. :)
Tbh I've played this but I wasn't very impressed. It was just OK. I think ffg are missing a chance by not building an expansion to this by leveraging the Mandolorean IP into the game which might lift it to a more interesting game
There's a expansion being released this June.
have you considered Xia? was considering this as filler since Xia was not accessible for a while, but for now it is available, I got it and have 0 regrets. this one has cool enough techs, but so much is missed from Firefly/Freelancer experience without actual flying through the space
