I need to try this. I have been taking magnesium glycinate for some time, but it has been more miss than hit lately. I put it down to shift work (splits, nights, earlies) over the last 40+ years screwing up my body clock! I also struggle to 'turn off' my brain at night. I will have to pick up some camomile tea

I've been able to catch up on my sleep since then as I've been drinking chamomile tea every day. I have a little bit of mental fog simply because I've been getting less than 6 hours of sleep consistently every night for the past year. It's going to take my body a little bit to adjust but I can already tell the effects of simply being able to go to sleep and stay asleep or if I have to get up to use the bathroom, I can fall right back asleep

For me I will get more benefit from buying organic chamomile in bulk and make it in a teapot. Pour boiling water over it in the teapot and let it steep for at least 20-30 minutes. Tea bags just make flavored water for me.
This is great for my 6 year old. We made the mistake of giving him melatonin at bedtime since he was a baby and now it seems he has trouble producing his own melatonin. We’ve been trying herbal / homeopathic non-melatonin aids lately and I think things are slowly improving, but he still has a little trouble settling in at night. He will love this and it is much more affordable.
Yeah, it's funny that the doctors all say that it's perfectly safe but they don't explain to you that children that are on melatonin long-term will mess up their own bodies production 🙄 I hope you find the help y'all are looking for 🤍
Please see a naturopath. There are natural ways to lower and maintain. They truly work. Your doc will never tell you as they’re all owned by big pharma 🥰
Tell your doctor about the side effects you are experiencing. If it is your general practitioner prescribing them, then insist on seeing a cardiologist. They know better what to prescribe. Also talk to your pharmacist and let them know your meds side effects regarding sleep.

Thank you for the advice. Passionflower also makes a big difference, especially when taken with a potentiator like ginger. It's a powerful blood thinner though (as is cinnamon) -- that means it's a Vitamin K antagonist.

Swear that my sleep algorithm has been out of wack from doing 07am-3pm then 11pm-07am again then you understand where I’m exhausted at. During time being only fun ever do is content on my channel called Security Off Duty. Once do something then upload through the week to catch up on projects, haven’t gotten much sleep is 6hr most time get 9hrs on good days. Not only want to but need try this than melatonin get myself to sleep , not big fan of almond milk if it’s last resort over dairy milk. if you really want to kick it up add a lill catnip to your chamo tea, and make it kind of concentrated then dilute with favorite milk and grated nutmeg. i call it knock out tea.

For me, almond milk, caused stomach problems. I tried replacing coffee with a turmeric latte. They are very tasty, but it didn’t work
