      @@PhoRunner I had a quick question, I recently bought SPC model 25460, they look different. It looks like the flat metal model, however this one looks like a tubular model. They both claim they are the same model number. So which one is which?

    Hi! Great video! Question: when I went to grease my ball joints I used what appears to be a similar grease gun just a different brand and I use the same Grease as you. I noticed when you pumped your grease in nothing came out of the injection site. When I pump my grease in, grease comes out the sides of the injection site. I used a pic to see if the little ball valve on the joint moves and it does, it is not stuck. When I pushed it in a little bit of Grease came out. Is there something I am doing wrong? Do you think I'm still getting grease into the ball joint?

    • @PhoRunner
      @PhoRunner  Год назад

      I don’t think so. Maybe the gun isn’t set right. You should feel it when you pump

    A mechanic friend of mine recommended that I raise my 4runner so that the suspension is at full droop before greasing the ball joints. I think that might make sense, plus it should give a little more room. What do you think? Also, I have found 2 different lists of approved grease products from SPC... both from 2016. I bought the first one on that list... Valvoline VV633, but I think most any NLGI NO.2 MOLY Fortified grease is probably fine.

    • @PhoRunner

    I have this really bad squeak going on, sounds like an old mattress, I’m really hoping this does the trick. I had to have mine swapped because of the bushings so i hope they’re not going out again because it took so long for spc to swap them under their warranty

    • @PhoRunner

      I wouldn’t think this would solve a squeak. Try wd40 on the bushing, one side at a time and seeing if it removes the noise.
