MX-5 left is identical to the MX-3/ MX-4. However, the right side which houses the shaft is different. To make it easier for you to understand. The gears held in his hand in the presented video, is the left side of the gearbox. It's interchangeable with the MX3. warning...the mx-5 right-side house is different to the mx3/mx4 and will not be compatible to mount to the mx-5's motor.
Technically you could buy a right-side shaft housing from eBikeZilla and convert your mx-3/mx4 into a mx-5. Buy the seat sink holder and it will match the dimension of the mx-5's battery cover. * You got to love Talaria for its interchangeable parts.

@@Gussocool if it’s just the 17mm wrench flats that are rounded, grab it with vice grips and replace drain plug with a new one once removed
