@@RedmoonSailing I lucked out and found a 1984 4.108 with 2500 hours on it. It came off of a sailboat in Lake Superior. It came with a transmission that I couldn’t use, a Hurth. It was listed on eBay

Great info I have the same damm problem, I am moving my 4108 to get some space 😮
Cost me $15 for a 7/32 allen with 6in extension for a 3/8 rachet, damm nut on the bottom was too close, I had to remove the bottom bowl.
I say hex but I meant Allen head
