Started a year ago with mine. This is so helpful to me. Was raised by my mom with only aunts that were divorced/single. Not a single dude around to teach me these things. Mom liked me short hair and short to no beard. Last year decided to unleash the beast, I now have shoulder-length hair and a beard that's just touching my collarbone with a light pull to straighten. So thank you for this detail on how to care for it.
Love the tips. As a hairstylist these tips are so helpful to pass along to my male clients. I’ve done hair for 23 years and for so many of them beards were not as common as they are now. Thanks again for the info
I've been growing my beard since early June. I'm 17 (18 in less than a month) and pretty lucky with genetics, started getting facial hair at 11, but never actually let it grow. My beard is about to the bottom of my neck. I'm just now finally starting to use care products such as oil, balm, and beard wash, and honestly loving every bit of it. It feels softer, fuller, and stronger. Definitely needed tips on styling it and just living that beard life. Your channel is the first beard channel I'm subscribing too just from your character and abundance of useful information. Thank you for what you do.
Hi Jeremy, this is a truly great video because it summarizes everything important in one place. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to learn the basics of beard care but doesn't want to spend hours on YT browsing different channels, etc. Excellent job!
Well, here I am, 68 years old and, for several reasons, new to the beard world. It's nowhere near yours, but 8 months in it's coming along quite satisfactorily. Early on I trimmed it regularly but was told if I wanted it long, and I do, not to trim it at all for several months. Like you, the mustache area needs to be kept close but the rest of it I just let go. Trimmed the sideburn area today for the first time in 5 months. May have gone too far, but it'll come back. These are some excellent pieces of advice here. Thank you.
I used to work in hospital where the infection control nurse told me my beard was probably filled with E. coli. Well, I set her straight. If it was in my beard then it certainly must be in her over processed hair not to mention all the makeup on her face. End of conversation. Well, I'm still bearded. Great video sir and great beard too.
Great video. Been growing my beard around 9 months now. Took your advice and hit that bad boy tonight with my wife's hair dryer...holy cow!!!! Totally converted. Blessed with a pretty full looking beard to begin with but could not believe how much of a styling difference this made. Wife was equally stunned. Will defn become part of my routine. Cheers and peace!

...most people probably don't dislike nickelback either. I was raised in the 80's listening to "classic rock" my dad listened to and found heavy metal in HS. I don't claim to have been to every great show ever but I I have been to a lot of shows and seen a lot of different bands and will say I saw nickelback in concert once and they throw the fuck down. one of my fondest concert memories was being at a nickelback and they started playing Cowboys from Hell while throwing beer into the crowd. Most of the people there had no idea what song they were playing but me and this other guy (complete stranger) looked at each other and nodded, we both knew the other knew...and we started a giant fucking mosh pit. All the hipsters getting smashed around were completely lost but I'm glad I was there to help them experience their first real concert.
Easy quick recipe is add some Grapeseed Oil (27ml) with 3ml of Avocado Oil. Add in 3 drops of benzoin essential oil, 6 drops of something citrusy like grapefruit oil and 4-5 drops of something floral. You should get a nice well rounded scent blend.
Hello everyone,I have been growing beard for long time ,and what I learned over the years that works for me is to oil your beard at least once a week by applying the high quality oil I usually don’t like to mix oils so I use almond oil ,and wash it in the morning this will soften your beard over time and eventually you will not need to blow dry or do extra steps to mange it .give it a try .hope it helps.

GREAT VIDEO! I've been growing my beard for about 4 years. Definitely gonna try these new tips I learned in this video. It's not as long I'd hope it'd be by now, I've been combing from the top. Thanks for the tips!!!
I can't stand having a long mustache either, for the reasons you listed, I keep mine very short.
I can bring my mustache to my eye. But yes... super annoying.
Just starting to grow a beard; not even sure if it’ll be my thing but wanted more info. This is my 3rd video and the only one I laughed at and thoroughly enjoyed. Thumbs up and new subscriber!
Im 17 year old with bum fluff on my face, what the hell am I doing here?
*Nice beard tho!*
Hang in there. Trimming up to your style that fits your haircut...
@@1gnoreAntz oh im also balding at 17! 🙂
Use minoxidil
If your balding already then youll def grow a beard. Also legit question btw. Are you taking PEDs? I take them and it does cause facial hair to grow and head hair to go.
Mine kicked in at 21, PAITENCE BROTHER
LMFAO!!! That mirror image convo is what made me sub, and I am so glad I did. Thank you for all you do brother!
15:09 like making fun of nickelback... lmoa!!
Made me laugh too. I actually like a few nickelback songs but their last albums sucked. Hipsters just suck and it's not just a "thing". Fuck hipsters
Just hit my year and love it. I can’t wait to see what next year brings.
It works for ZZTOP.
"Because it can get wrapped up and that is a bad day for EVERYBODY" cracked me up 😂
Love your beard but why the ponytail. Ruins the look
@Man I'll Probably regret this You are right man! It forks out and you need to keep a band if you want the neater style
