I was sceptical about a Solar powered camera at first considering the bad weather in the UK but it still performing that well, I'd have no problem! The night vision is an amazing perk too🔥🙌 I'm going to check it out!

I was also thinking the same as the sun is limited in UK, the power consumption is low and it outputs great value for money.

Can the camera be removed? I bought it but am afraid of it being permanent once it "snaps" in.

I have an AOSU 360° Solar C9C camera. The camera lacks true security features. The first being a 60 second event recording limit even with a 128GB memory card installed and set up to only record locally(not that local or cloud recording should be a factor in limiting the camera to 60 seconds local max). Imagine it picks up someone hopping your back fence and walking towards your home slowly opps it stops recording / fails to continue to track. or they pace back and forth then begin to walk up to or around your car oops 60 seconds is up. Other times if the subject pauses for a moment, is moving directly toward or away from the camera and even if there is movement across it view the camera just stops recording. This is even for recordings way below the 60 second max. which most recordings are. The camera has no option to force it to continue recording a motion event for the full 60 seconds or for another 5 seconds (or 10 or 20) after it thinks motion has stopped - this is standard on "security cameras". Another standard "security camera" feature is the ability to pre-record. What that means is the camera is buffering a few seconds of what it is looking at (usually 2-5 seconds) and when an event is triggered it uses the pre-recorded video as the beginning of the recorded event. This ability allows you to see what happened before the detector picked up motion (out of range of the motion detector) or if the camera had a detection zone (and a home zone) and you had blocked some swaying branches... As for the home zone it is where you want the camera looking at all the time. Such as your car or front door (the camera does seem to return after tracking to where you had set it to look at but not every time). These features have been available for years on inexpensive ($35 or less) wireless cameras. What made me purchase the camera was the true wireless nature of solar. After 4 cloudy days the camera continued to function. The night vision is ok - if you have street lights around your home turn it off. The lights that can turn on are bright considering. Unfortunately, key security features are missing. I can't state how important it is to be able to increase or record an event in its entirety. But I know this will leave you very frustrated when there is an incident that was partially recorded or missed entirely. I got what I paid for and most unfortunately missed my return window. I will also mention there is not any documentation of its settings and forget about the tech support people offering any explanation of what settings it does have no matter how many times you ask or send examples of missing events. From what I have read all the cameras in this class are the same. Let's call them "Good Luck Cameras" . Good luck getting some usable video when something happens.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to comment and I can definitely feel your frustration. I couldn’t agree less with what you said but I must point out, I do not work for AOSU and my reviews are transparent. I have not experienced any issues when recording video length to my internal phone storage. The device I have also allows to save files to cloud but this will cost additional. The downside of this camera which I mentioned in my review is that it did not have built in SD card so it’s heavily relays on you pressing record from their app or the cloud system if you have opted for it.
I am currently reviewing a newer device of AOSU and it has the SD card built in but no solar panel. So it’s never a win/win option.
With UK been known as terrible weather, I have never had battery issue with this camera so far, I’m pleased with this due to its price range.
You also mentioned about user guide manual, we received this in our pack and I have showed here in this video how to setup your camera etc.
Let me know if you require further information.

@@APTechs My experience is real. However, The camera does not store its video on a cell phone. It can store it in the cloud (a paid option) or locally to a chip sold separately. The camera senses motion and will store the captured video in those two places. My post was regarding a AOSU C9C product. I have no idea what you are referring to regarding your internal phone storage. (yes you can manually download clips to your phone)Your review is about "AOSU WIRELESS SOLAR SECURITY CAMERA" you did not specify a model. But sending or watching / recording all day would certainly leave you with a dead battery most days. Unless you are viewing what is stored on the "HUB" as you called it. Also I cant find a AOSU solar camera in their lineup that does not have a card slot. Even the classic d1 kit which you have has a slot for a 32g card but it also comes with an external "Local" drive for storage which you also have. Unfortunately. AOSU doesn't include instructions of any value. There should be a square below the on/off/reset. I think in your video @3:47 the "square" flap is actually opened. That where a mem chip can go.
      A word of caution
If you think because you did not purchase the cloud data option and you will put a chip in or have the 'Kit" with local storage That your data will stay private and local, think again. Each event must be evaluated to distinguish between objects such as facial recognition. Each clip is sent to servers in China to be evaluated. They are just not storing it for you to access - you have to pay for that.
If your results are different we may just have different expectations of how a security camera should work. Please, run the camera through some tests. without having a viewing device like your phone connected. Act like a thief or person bent on damaging your property. Approach your property from outside of the camera's range just like a perp would, try slow, fast , day night. Wait several minutes then review what was captured.
