Mama Brooke thank your for taking us along that was fun. I remember when I got married I thrifted so many decor items. I found nice candle holders and just painted them black. This gave me some nice memories of shopping for all of those items. It save me so much money. 😊

I'm a huge "thrifty" and you're right Mama Brooke, everything has gotten too high priced. All that stuff is DONATED to them for free. These places will eventually price themselves right out of business if they're not careful. Happy shopping and have a blessed day.
It’s just a trend and as soon as the trends over hopefully things go back to normal I’ve been thrift him for years and I truly believe that when the kids started thinking, it was cool to do it then that’s what happened.🤷🏼♀️

Brooke I so much wish I had the vision you have when you see an item. You pick the most unique thing. I live in the states and I have never seen a Value Village. Ooooh I wish they would extend their stores here. We have a store called Old Timers and I simply love it. A slice in time every visit and I like you don’t like a lot of shoppers In when I’m visiting. I have been searching for the round candles and I guess everyone has burned theirs or are very partial to them. I look forward to your show. Love the table! My mom collected swans. Sad to say her mom called her an ugly duckling. She was beautiful but her sister looked like Shirley Temple and won a beauty contest. So my mom carried that comment with her forever. The swan represented her blossoming into a beauty. 🦢

Look for inexpensive china cabinets with separate top.
Hang the top for cabinets. They look beautiful painted. Use bottom for buffet or dresser.
Yeah, I have luck probably for about a year but it’s finding the configuration with the depth. It’s not so much the web. It’s the depth that I’m having a problem with.

Your thrift shops are so much better than our charity shops in England everything has to be perfect including the furniture which makes everything expensive there's not much to make over and craft shops a very rare too.
