    These younger kids don't know how dangerous this man was on those old 2K games. From like 2K2 to like 2K9 he was a bucket, a walking 40. He was fast as hell, he could dribble, he could shoot from wherever and he could dunk on everybody. He was like a created player.

    T-Mac was so damn good in his prime. During that mini-era that lacked superstars, after Jordan's reign with the Bulls ended and before LeBron started his reign, T-Mac was another superstar that the NBA desperately needed. You had Kobe with the Lakers, Iverson the Sixers, Kidd with the Nets, and then there was T-Mac with the Magic (note: I'm probably missing some stars).

    LeBron PG
    Kobe SG

    T-Mac SF

    This “High School To Pro” Squad in their primes could feasibly beat any combination of players in the history of the NBA.

    • @edwinj
      @edwinj 2 года назад

      In a video game, yes. In real life, no. The perimeter players all need the ball in their hands all the time to be successful, so there would be little to no chemistry.

    • @edwinj
      @edwinj 2 года назад

      @@darkskinglory899 A whole bunch of centers could take Dwight,
      MJ could take Kobe,
      KD, Bird or Dr. J could take T-Mac offensively and Pippen could contain him defensively. Kawhi would be a tough match up for him on both ends.
      Tim Duncan or Karl Malone could take KG
      Magic may not be able to guard LeBron 1 on 1, but he would be a better floor general for his team.
      The guys he listed would have no chemistry together because LeBron, T-mac and Kobe cannot play off ball. Kobe would likely assert himself as the alpha because he is (was) the most strong-willed of the three, but the team would not be successful against a more carefully built team. Magic, MJ and Pippen would better because Magic would be the playmaker, MJ the scorer and Pippen the lock down defender who does not need the ball in his hands much. There has to be hierarchy for a team to be successful; players need to know and accept their roles.

    Love him or hate him, this is why Chicago Bulls GM Jerry Krause was such a genius and people downplay his ability to make deals and recognize talent to surround MJ with.
    He first recognized the need to trade for Pippen on draft night out of obscure Arkansas.
    Krause recognized that Doug Collins needed to be replaced and recognized that assistant coach Phil Jackson who had never been a head coach, was the man for the job despite protests from Jordan.
    Krause then recognized that an unproven young Tracy McGrady was the ideal player to replace a prime Scottie and play alongside MJ to become the future of the league.
    (These are just a few examples of the foresight Krause had for exceptional basketball talent).

    Most of the NBA players that came out of high school are having long careers anyway

    Made the right decision. Injuries took him out early.

    to me they are but thats why I listed them at the bottom bottom list of Hall of fames meaning all the greats before them not only MJ, Kobe but and etc. For VC he could've been you know it but due to his lazyness and work ethic he never was cuz if he did what Kobe did then he would've been better then Kobe even though both my fav players. And yea your right my mistake on the VC and T-mac leveling but personally I see VC better than T-Mac at things and vice versa. And no worries, its all good.

    because they are different sports... and from age ten they sign them but not for the big stage.. and if you're groomed by professionals for a long time then it's easier to see where you fit and if you get injured early it's not too late to go back to school and they are better prepared for the pros.. and may be their parents aren't the best decision makers.. mlb and nhl and soccer all have farm systems.. nba and nfl do not... you either make it or you don't..

    For the ones saying Robert Horry is the greatest PF ever obviously knows nothing about the game. Everyone keeps talking about rings. In the jordan era no one got rings including Karl Malone, Reggie Miller, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, John Stockton the list goes on. If Jordan never came all them would have rings. Just because robert horry have more than them does that make him better? Hell No just lucky to be on great teams.
