forever will be my fave player of all time
you have to love his athleticism
Sup justabro ur vids are great
him and vc are two of my favorites
One of the greatest even the swaggest!
Def worthy.
He had some sweetness to his game. He could dunk, shoot the 3, no look pass, get the block, steal... and he had the footwork. One of my favorite players. It was exciting for me to watch him catch fire.
2000-2006 when basketball was awesome.
When every team was a contender, when every team had at least 1 ALL star player, when you never knew who was making it the finals...yea i miss that sh*t too bruh
But it was more comp bac then
Lol. You're just saying that because Kobe was in his prime. No but I agree, the early 200"s was one of the best eras ever.
Michael C That's not why ...smh
Yea when the Pistons took down Kobe lol
People make jokes and shit when players get hurt or cant stay healthy but true fans of the game want to see everyone at their best so we dont have to say "WHAT IF"
Word
TMAC was a straight beast. He was a "would have been" not a "could have been". He would probably be one of if not the greatest player of this era.
Right. Peak>longevity
The era When every team was a contender, when every team had at least 1 ALL STAR PLAYER, when you never knew who was making it the FINALS.
Huh did you not see the lakers practically dominating teams if anything the east was a mixup but the lakers kings and Spurs ran the west
Truuuu
+IM REALLY BOUT TO GETCHA YA u couldnt tell who was coming out tha east the west u knew its was going to be la or san Antonio but tge east was always up in the air
+Andrew King I love how the Detroit Pistons was constructed waaaay back, they're a beast. Early 2000s truly was a great era
Your right
Greatest scorer I've ever seen. Kobe or lebron couldn't touch him in his prime. Dude was the best one on one player hands down. Unguardable
+Faith Gordon stop
FACTS
Imagine penny didn't get injured and shaq had stayed in Orlando when T-mac came along..... Would have been domination
+Daniel Mccree yea it would have
+Aaron I don't think so hahaha but could be 😊
And throw Vince in there too. Pure domination
+Enzo Kawabata you don't think so?
2001Magic 4G R6.5 A8.3 S1.8 B1.3 P33.8
2002Magic 4G R6.3 A5.5 S0.5 B1.8 P30.8
2003Magic 7G R6.7 A4.7 S2.0 B0.9 P31.7
T-macs playoffs stats with the magic. Always with decent or good fg. Would've been the craziest team of all time Might have to make that team on 2k now and play some myleague
+klev bla I don't think so cause Tmac wouldn't be the main offensive threat. He would have to share the ball to a point guard who needs the ball and a center who wants touches most of the time. I think he woul only average about 13 pts on 44% fg since he is a volume shooter yeah? He needs isolation plays to score. He isn't a catch and shoot too. Love TMac though, I really like his moves 😊
from 2000-04 he was the best player in the world hands down
Western Conference shaq was the best in the world
A athletic beast along with a great shot and could also pass and rebound. Sad he couldn't win a MVP or get a ring, but we all know that his greatness lives up to those accolades.
2003 Tracy should be an overall of 99 in 2k16
alot of players should be 99 ovr
99-00 Vince carter and tmac should be 99
07 steve nash should be 99
Kool_ninja69 Yeet
lol 98 ovr den
AI,Vince, Tmac and Kobe that was a great time for SG's now Point Guards running shit
Umm. Didn't AI run point
IM REALLY BOUT TO GETCHA YA first off ivo played alot of 2 guard at the time
ToneEsco but still was there one
+ d wade and ray allen
ToneEsco wing players will always run the NBA
This guy was a top rate guard with a 6'9" body. Why he doesn't have at least 3 rings is beyond me.Toronto was foolish for pissing him off during his rookie year otherwise they would have had a championship with vince carter.
It was the teams he was on.
canibus19 seems like it though the houston team was really strong. He was unstoppable in the playoffs until his back hurt him too much.
Orlando tried to get him one. But Grant Hill got injured.
His game is and will ALWAYS be smoother than Kobes
+Mistah Kleen nope, hypotheticals fam. Kobe is the goat 2.0.
2000's
Kobe
TMac
VC
Ai
Nash
10's
Lebron
Durant
PG13?
Curry
Paul
+WeenkerIV Duncan too in the list
+yunglogic you must be 15
ProtexGames HD
lmao what
+Mistah Kleen but kobe is better
ONE OF THE BEST I EVER SAW TOUCH THE BALL BELIVE MEE...
the injury bug takes another great player from us.
can't believe I forgot about him people don't recognize what he did when he played ,this was one of my fav players growing up man I love just seeing him play especially against kobe
The Greatest Talent Ever
T mac will forever be my favorite player
What’s wrong with people saying Tmac isn’t the best talent in SF/SG of all time? his natural ability to dunk drive shoot and layup with both left and right hand equally is unmatchable by any other player. his explosive enough to get by any opponent with literally the very first step and go off to a hop step and bounce right off to a slam dunk, who can do that? Which other guy is able to ride on center’s and forward’s shoulders when they dunk like TMAC? how often do you see a guy taller than yao ming being
how often do you see a guy taller than yao ming being rided like a horse as he gets dunked on*
The Hoper nothing wrong if you're from a certain generation. Michael Jordan to me was but to each his own. And I thought Iverson and Kobe were every bit as good as TMac. They could at least get out of the first round
Tracy McGrady is the favorite player of my two closest friends back when he was the one-man show in Orlando. Appreciate your game, 13 points in 35 seconds! Thanks for the memories!
T Mac would've given Lebron James fits.
your-sisters-lover in his prime he would've given LeBron all he could handle and then some. I'd go as far as to say he would cause LeBron trouble with his defense more than any other player. Dude was 6'8 himself and played like Kobe. In fact, he put the clamps down on Kobe numerous times. And you're right, he did get injured. Such a shame. Had tmac been on the right team who knows how many rings he could've won.
eatmyags please, LeBron couldn't win until he teamed up with the top players from his own draft class. And the thing is...he only should have one. The spurs gave him that second ring. As evident the spurs murdered them last year. And they'll do it again this year. LeBron will coast thru the weak ass east like he always does. Get to the championship and get beat by the west...Again.
without the offensive race comments, i will say labitch james the so called best player ever, had to go team hopping to win a ring. jordan nor kobe did that. not to mention labitch is bigger than jordan and kobe and considered more atheltic so it should be far easier but its not because he sucks compared to the greats. wade prime>labitch prime. wade won a ring with a big 4 unlike labitch. i live in miami florida and it was the worst meserable 4 years to be a heat fan
***** salt all in your wounds
canibus19 The Spurs didnt give him a damn thing a game is 48 minutes anything can happen and then after that it was a game 7 and they lost. The heat lost because D Wade wasn't there and they lost to the Spurs not the West no other team in the West would have beat the Heat last year fuck out of here.
he still rocks... still love playing him on the games... sad to say injuries really shut downs carrier but still his my best player of all time... T-MAC
For me T-Mac was like a skinnier version of Lebron. T-Mac was just as explosive but lacked Lebron's power/strength. T-Mac is easily one of the most athletically-gifted NBA players of all time.
If TMAC didn't get injured lebron would be in his shadow.
+DemocracyOfHypocrisy don't talk crazy
+Jose Guapo
TMAC would be right there with Kobe.
+DemocracyOfHypocrisy but Lebron would still be doing wat he's doing
+Chiraq ShortyGloedUp
Yeah, he would be considered the best after T Mac. It would be MJ, Kobe, T Mac, Lebron. TMac & Kobe tied for #2.
Thank u t Mac for the great memories... As a raptor fan I always sit here and think about what could've been with you and Vince
Often times think if Yao was a few inches shorter and wasnt injury riddled, they really had a great chance btwn 2005-2009 to win 1 title. Couldnt get past injuries, the Mavs, the Jazz...such is life. His game was something I emulated growing up... He was smooth as fuck. He really could beat you any which way.
man a true gift to have witnessed these guys play
Healthy...T-Mac> prime...Kobe
your-sisters-lover You again...
your-sisters-lover fuck you hater
Asad Khan nah
Stop it
Kobe wasn’t fucking with T MAC T MAC was a better scorer and lead the league in scoring 4 times
Kobe did it once y’all stop
grew up watching him and playing with him on nba live 2004
tmac and kobe are my goats
"And pull up for a jumpew"
Lol.
I remember when I didn't know much about basketball and I played as the Rockets in NBA 2K5. I hit the game winning buzzer beater with T-Mac and he's been one of my favorite players ever since haha and I've started to follow basketball a lot more.
Never knew T-mac and Carter were cousins.
T-mac used to workout at my gym like 4-5 years ago. He was so chill when I met him
would injuries ruin him if he stayed in toronto and would vince carter be a star and vet today if he stayed with toronto
One of my favorites, if not, most favorite player in the NBA
if he was never injury prone he would be top 5 if not top 10 off all time he's easily the best player to never win a ring
Iverson
+Kyle Lavalley yeah but I mean if TMAC wasn't injury prone he would've been
+Real Moron same with Hardaway
iverson, barkley, malone and stockton
icyboy771z ill add 2 to the list ewing and vince carter
My hero forever. Keep following
if he only stayed with Toronto played with vince or another player like him he would have been able win a title. The thing with tmac the reason he was so great was his play style very aggressive and great shooter but not built to last he wore his body out the way he played. Any one who doubts tmacs greatness needs to remember he never had other great player play with him unlike kobe or lebron.
Well... Two things. The first, it was his fault he didn't have another great player with him. He could have stayed in Toronto but was too selfish to not be THE star. Unlike Kobe and Bron who can be on teams with other stars. I don't even like Kobe but he gets it. He understands what T-Mac didn't, The second... Yao Ming. When healthy, Yao was a 20/10 guy with .500 shooting... So, T-Mac did have some help some of the time. Too bad injuries killed his career.
I think someone like him needed someone like Dirk so he would have had space to operate post players would get in the way. No doubt though he shouldn't left but once he left he realised his mistake I remember him talking about Kobe wanting to be the man saying that he should be careful what he wished for
Micheal Fleury The coach in Toronto was treating Tmac badly even blaming him for losing games when he was just a rookie. Tmac never forgot and when his contract was ending toronto tried to play nice and he wasn't having it.
Or MJ
He will forever be one of my favorite players.
after Jordan era AI TMAC KOBE
Wade ???
after tmac ai kobe- wade lebron melo
Tim Duncan? Steve Nash? Kevin Garnett? Shaq!? Dwight Howard? Jason Kidd! Dirk nowitzki? Maybe even pierce, hill, allen, and Vince?
Top 5 SG/SF talents in the last 20 years: 1.Anfernee Hardaway. 2.Kobe Bryant 3. Grant Hill 4. Tracy McGrady 5.Dwayne Wade. Three out of these five guys went down because of injuries. What could have been...
I pref vince than wade..
Michael Jordan came in the 80s.
Go hack to kindergarden pls...
Papawowmac
When I said ''talents'' I meant players who started their career in the NBA in the last 20 years(90s and after).
Papawowmac sorry ginobli doesn't belong
one of my favorite players ever
2K17 Penny Hardaway, T-Mac and Shaq. You can't beat that three.
My favourite basketball player of all time..
No Lakers fans im sorry... dont be a team fan in this case be a hoop fan! For a short period in his his prime both of theirs almost same time HE WAS BETTER! at one point T-Mac was just about there at the pinnacle. "INJURIES"
most elegant player to watch ever !!! truly amazing!!!
kobe beat him 1v1 on practise the result was 11:2
lol thats a lie
what a legend.! my favourite player by far
Better than Lebron and Kobe
+CentralFloridaHipHop wow don't even start
He would be on the same level as Kobe if he never was injured, if not higher. Even Kobe said he was the hardest to play against. Lebron wouldn't be on his level.
+DemocracyOfHypocrisy Nah in his prime he was better than kobe he was damn near to averaging tripple doubles with that shitty orlando team
+KevlarKev fuck no hes not better then kobe
master millz In his prime he was better than kobe. And every stat agrees with my statement. Not to mention the fact that he was on a team with rookies and players that would be on the end of the bench or out of the league 2 years later
Both my some of my fav players
was not better than kobe in his prime
In their prime they were almost at the same level. Differences were: T-Mac never was 100% healty and still he dominated for some years; defences were ALL over him, and yet he was able to put 32 ppg shooting 50% eFg%, while Kobe had Shaq who drew most of the defence attentions.
FuRiOn91 Yeah he never had the right opportunity, it was always him or Yao that was injured, and when he was in the finals in San Antonio he barely got any minutes
FuRiOn91 As a Laker fan, this I have to agree with.
T-Mac was one of my favorite players to watch of all time.
He's very cocky player
That's just his personality.
then kobe is a cocky player so does jordan.
Haha. Fr though thats like the only time Ive heard him say something cocky. Other than that he quiet af.
T-mac one the all time great one!
One of my favorite players
Timeless. Thanks Mr. T-Mac
T- Mac was a boss. Loved his game
My fave player. It's sad that he retired.
This man right up there with Kobe, Jordan, Iverson, Kemp, and LeBron.
When TMac caught 🔥🔥🔥 there was no stopping him
mcgrady is a good man. good to see him playing for the spurs.
i want to see tmac pierce vince kobe a.i. in their primes again , that's why i still cant get over with nba live 2004, back then each team had 1 or 2 stars unlike the nba today , so from time to time i still visit nba live 2004 to match them up
The people who say winning rings are overrated are not athletes at any level, whether professional, collegiate, high school, amateur. Ask any athlete of any sport what their goal is and damn near all of them would say that their goal is to win. A championship is the ultimate prize for any athlete.
one of the best to ever do it !
always my favorite player
legedary, great career T-mac we gon miss you
My Favorite player for ever...the good player but never been in the good team,he really deserved to leave the NBA with a Champion Ring.
Best wishes for you T-Mac from your number 1 fan from france
"You can be the boss in toronto as long as u dont leave" Says Carter
He says he learned from Vince, but damn, Vince is still playing...
late 90s and 2000s were the most exciting times in NBA imo. I miss those days; Kobe, Vince, AI, Tmac, Paul Pierce, KG, and Dirk.
Judging by pure and raw talent, he is the best of all time.
The early 2000 era player all retiring, I thought this time would never come but here we are
he is a inspiration.
I'm about to cry. AGAIN.
'How you want it? I can give it to you any way, so how you want it?'
The swag in this video is just too much! xD
I remember back in the day when my friends and I use to argue over who's better between Kobe and T-Mac. You already know who I was with.
T-mac went from a driver/dunker to a flat out scoring threat
Love T-mac forever!
Tracy is the best player ever!
One of the best scorers in NBA history
wow, I didn't even know he officially retired until today. crazy...I was just watching him dunk on Shawn Bradley what seems like yesterday.
was a Genius 💪❤️🙏and Vince too
Congrats t Mac he inspired me to try to dunk like a crazy
Amazing player!!!
He will be a hall of famer mock my words
He was 32 seconds away.... During Game 7. He was a beast.
A great talent!
This is my fav player he is da best
Tmac is always be #1 to me and his the only reason why I like watching basketball
if he never got injured he would been the best SF ever. then LBJ.
Matthew Chapa He was a shooting guard.
Nah bro dont disrespect Lebron. Tmac can't do the things Lebron can do.
Justin Peralta naw bro don't disrespect T-Mac boi was ballin while u was in the womb
Matthew Chapa Baylor,Oscar Robertson,Julius,Bird are all or some of them as great as Lebron and would not be lower than T-Mac for sure..I love him as a player but I have to give credit where is due and not look at only the players of the last 15 years.
Luke Twitty and a SF
My younger brother loved T-Mac in NBA 2K7 :)
He could be one of the greatest player ever, pure talent
if t.mac never got hurt he would be the best in the nba today. point blank period
I was thinking the same thing, never knew T-mac had the type of personality. I always thought he was more of the humble, laid-back type. And you're right about Lebron too lol
pg13 is like t mac in some way, when he was a litter unlucky to break his leg. i am relieved to see tmac enjoyed quite a few prime years
VC and T-Mac are cousins
the greatest players of all-time in NBA history
God damn T-Mac was so athletic. I miss seeing these type of players in the NBA.
T-Mac never had the players around him to make it past the playoffs this guy was crazy good
if only they stick together, they will get championship rings for sure! VC & T-Mac what a combo!
T-Mac says here he had no signature move, but the one move I will always remember him by is how he would swing the ball from high up his body to low, to then blow by his defender as seen at 1:44
i just think about his hesi and footwork
they should do a present day interview. all these clips were from those NBA dvd's from 2004, namely "The Foundation"
