I am Ukrainian. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video, I will tell you what happened on the 838 day of the war.
    Day 838: Jun 10
Today, there are a lot of updates from the Kharkiv direction.
Here, after Ukrainians had seized the initiative in all directions in the region, Russians decided to respond by resorting to their dominant tactic of sending waves of infantry groups, using significant amounts of their reserves in a desperate attempt to preserve the initiative. However, Ukrainians unleashed all available weapons, including HIMARS rockets that were just waiting for the green light from Western partners, particularly the United States.
Since the full-scale war began in February 2022, the American administration has prohibited Ukrainians from striking Russian territory with Western-made weapons. Consequently, Ukrainians had to watch as Russians prepared for another offensive against Kharkiv without being able to preemptively target enemy forces. This culminated in another Russian attempt to seize Kharkiv last month. In response, Ukrainians intensified diplomatic efforts to gain permission to strike key bases, equipment, ammunition depots, and anti-aircraft systems in Russia's Belgorod region. Finally, President Joe Biden granted this request, albeit limited to the area near Kharkiv.
Ukrainians had already planned their next actions and were awaiting permission to start their wave of strikes. In order to open the air space for the usage of HIMARS and other weapons, their first targets became Russian radars and air defense systems. Within hours they were able to successfully locate and destroy one of the most modern enemy surveillance radars - Kasta 2E2. The geolocated footage from the Belgorod region shows how they are using one of their locally developed loitering munition systems - RAM 2. The first drone targets the truck carrying the antenna and the second successfully destroys the command post vehicle.
This was immediately followed by a massive launch of HIMARS rockets which can be seen in this video released by the Ukrainian forces. Being blinded by the destruction of powerful radars, the Russians reported that various elements of anti-aircraft systems S300 and S400 were hit. Soon the Russians shared images and videos that confirm the damage to these vital weapons, which they are using not only defensively for interception of air threats but also offensively for striking ground targets. If you want access to original uncensored combat footage showing the devastating aftermath of HIMARS strikes, you can find it on our Telegram channel using the link in the description.
Ukrainian soldiers fighting on the frontline reported that soon after those initial strikes, their armed forces began using fighter jets, helicopters, and artillery more intensely than before. A geolocated video from the Kharkiv region shows Ukrainian helicopters returning after performing combat tasks in the vicinity of Vovchansk. The next video shows the devastating work of Ukrainians jets against concentrations of enemy forces in the city. Once again, Ukrainians waited until Russians gather in a large local building and then targeted it with gliding bombs to eliminate them. It is important to know that this building was located very close to the Ukrainian positions in the high-rise building district of Vovchansk. The Russians were attempting to gather a large force for a storm operation against the Ukrainian stronghold north of the Vovcha River which has caused them problems for weeks now. Russian forces that survived the attack were quick to capture the aftermath of this devastating strike. The original uncensored videos of this operation can be found on our Telegram channel as well.
The magnitude of all these Ukrainian attacks prompted the Russian Ministry of Defense to claim that the Ukrainian command has transferred up to 12 M270 self-propelled multiple rocket launch systems in the Kharkiv region to support counter-offensive measures in this direction. This exact model can fire up to 12 rockets in comparison to the more common M142 launcher which can fire up to 6 rockets. Even though there is no precise information on exactly how many systems the Ukrainians have received from their partners, they were quick to add fuel to the fire of speculations, by publishing images of dozens of empty HIMARS rocket tubes with the additional...

Bro, do you think its a smart idea to win like this? I mean, they are fine losing a million troops or more without much doubt. Are we really, really sure we want to spend missiles that cost years make and we can only make a dozen or so a year and use all sorts of chips and special resources and rare materials?
I mean, if we get disarmed, they might think its worth it.
We need to understand the enemy, and the squinty eye ones in behind this minibos chamber in the main one, and not get obsessed with winning.
I dont think you understand how evil the chinese can be, but id rather have russia than the pure evil china is known for. Russia isnt good, but still. Atleast they arent exactly generally genocidal causually because and its a random tool just sitting on the table for any random polocy., they atleast need a good reason, but the chinese smoke something and make a policy.

I genuinely love seeing my tax dollars used to defend Ukraine from Russian aggression. And this actually helps our military as well, because every piece of equipment we give to Ukraine is being replaced with a new one made here in the U.S., increasing our operational readiness, providing thousands of high-paying jobs, and giving our military extremely valuable information about how our weapons systems perform in a real force-on-force combat scenario. And all of this without risking any American soldiers, and while spending a fraction of what we spend every year on defense; for context, the total amount of aid we've provided to Ukraine over the last three years totals around $175 billion, and we spend over $900 billion on our military every year.
Ukraine gets to defend itself from invasion, we get to demolish Russia's military with no American casualties, we get to test our weapons in combat, stimulate the economy, create jobs, and restock our own military with newer and better equipment to replace the old stuff we gave Ukraine. That's a win-win-win-win-win-win for the U.S. and Ukraine and a lose-lose for Russia! I love it.

For the HIMARS and M270 launchers, the M30 GMLRS rocket carries 404 DPICM M101 submunitions out to around 92 km. Not quite as many as the original M26 rocket carrying 644 DPICM M77 submunitions but you get better range and accuracy. Keep in mind when the US sent 155mm DPICM, those were considered a game changer and they "only" carry 88 per shell out to about 30km. I'd say send all the "expired" cluster munition stockpiles. When Ukraine gets the F16's they will be able to use western weapons in their most lethal mode. Like the HARM for example. Its not compatible with old Soviet aircraft so Ukraine has to fire the missile and if there is a SAM system in the area, radiating, the HARM should find it. Not only that but Ukraine's air to air and air to ground missiles are not fire and forget. Once the missile is launched the plane has to continue to fly behind it in order for the planes guidance system to guide it to the target. This makes it very, very dangerous for the pilot. When Ukraine gets tge fire and forget that will be a HUGE upgrade.

    • @dgthe3
      @dgthe3 3 месяца назад +7

@@feloniousmonk3049 There are plenty of F16s that could be used by Ukraine. They could probably receive 10x what they've been promised and there would be minimal impact on western air forces. Pilots would be limited, and for a 'massive' fleet of F16s, they'd need to do a lot of ground-up training. And for every pilot, you're going to need several times as many ground crew.
But the real limiting factor would be bases. The F16 doesn't like austere environments, which includes derelict Soviet-era airbases. And Ukraine will have to assume that Russia will target F16s on the ground if they know where they are. Which means either a) significant air defences at each base; or b) have each mission land at a different base from the one it started at -by the time Russia has a plan to hit a base hosting F16s, they've already gone elsewhere. Both have their drawbacks, but their problems only get worse the more planes you have.

BS arguments. If the West would have wanted to win this war, it had been over long time ago.
They all stall and don't care. Iran has atomic bombs, why did everyone helped Israel? Bc Israel is not a dead poor eastern country.
Croatia was in a similar position and was treated even much worse, depicted as evil as Serbia which commited countless war crimes, Butcha was nothing compared to the daily war we experienced.
In a rightful world Russians would have been isolated at least after 2014, but greed and decadency still dominate the Western politics

    For anyone curious
The new Defense minister of the Netherlands
Ruben Brekelmans( from vvd party that works with pvv Wilders in coalition) :
" We must quickly and structurally provide more air defense systems. Without these weapons systems, Ukraine cannot defend itself against air attacks.
We also need to strengthen our defense industry and increase weapons production. So that we can provide Ukraine with the necessary equipment and defend ourselves when the chips are down.
The energy grid in Ukraine has been badly affected by the violence of war. A humanitarian disaster is feared if it is not restored by next winter. Help from the West is also urgently needed in this area.
With a country at war, many things are needed at the same time. That is why we also want to offer other help, such as: (re)building houses, clearing large areas of landmines and helping with necessary reforms to fight corruption, for example.
It is important to continue to support Ukrainians in their fight for freedom. They are also fighting for our safety, because the closer Russia comes, the more dangerous for everyone."
