It's funny how some parents turn off by unplugging, like you said, amnot knowing that doing that can a lot of problems to the machine, specially smart devices, as there are things that need to be done before turning off the OS, eg.: deleting all data saved in RAM
Any device that requires a OS to work must be turned off by pressing the power button or, in a case of a computer, turning off the machine by logging out, or else many problems can happen. A example of those problems is the machine taking longer to start, result of a almost filled RAM, as the machine didn't get enough time to deleting the data on it.

I really like how it's treated here. Bowser doesn't want to do it, but as the commercial says, it's only as a last resort, Bowser would only resort to it after one too many problems and only for the sake of a healthy family interaction.

I love the segment where they say “watching the games your kid plays, can make it easier to talk to them”. Like it’s so... sweet & simple. Yet most parents don’t take the time out of their day to really be interested in what their kid does. It’s so strange to me
I think it's probably because gaming culture has developed an inside dialect. It's about as foreign as speaking a second language to them. Some parents take the effort to learn, but most don't.
I know this was posted 4 years ago but a recent news report that i saw said that parent think playing with children is a waste of their time. They should have their kids taken away from them ffs.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure they all enjoy it. Mario gets to go on an adventure, Peach gets an interesting experience and can officially be the person with the highest amount of kidnappings and Bowser gets the slight chance that Mario quits and he can marry Princess Peach.

Nintendo should REALLY consider having their own animation group. Not only can they make quality products, it will also serve as a great marketing tool to the new generation of kids, kids who are more interested in CoD and other AAA titles. The old generation will someday be gone and it's a good idea for nintendo to nurture new generations to become nintendo fans.

***** If it's only in fifteen minute segments then it doesn't need much in the way of talking. Remember Tom and Jerry only got by with minimal talking way back in the 40s and 50s. So an almost completely silent cartoon could be done and be better for it so it could focus on the biggest strength any mainline mario game has going for it, it's art design.

I love that in 0:36 he just... Growls, but doesn't attempt anything against Bowsie Jr no natter how mad he is. Like, in a lot of households, as they said, this would probably lead to being beaten or screamed at. But he just... Gets his frustration off by screaming to the air and not to his kid.
That's just very telling of Bowser and Jr's relationship.
Just with Bowser caring about his son's feelings and interests while protecting him and motivating him to do his responsibilities is so cute.
In the crossover with Rabbits Bowser calls Jr and asks him if he's fine and did all his tasks for the day. And let's not talk about Sunshine.

TumblrVideos my parents were a little bit more creative with this stuff. if they wanted to remove any video games, they just took the power cord specifically from any consoles. they were well aware of how expensive this stuff is, and they use it just as much as I did so this solution was a good middle ground between keeping the console and outright making it a brick. they were also well aware that I didn't have any money or a car to get another power cord. so it worked out pretty well.

Among this vid's many cute moments, my favorite is when he's doing what pretty much all my nephews and nieces do; describe their favorite Mario Kart bits when they clobbered their opponents. Jr's all like, "And then, I caught Mario right in the BUTT with a red shell!" and Bowser's chuckling like, "Attaboy, son!"
I always see Bowser as a remarried father, the koopalings being his children with his ex-wife and Bowser junior being his kid with his new wife. And he had ignored the Koopalings for a very long time -since Super Mario World until New Super Mario Boss Wii -so im not really sure if he is such a great dad LOL.

Yeah they aren't his children. The Japanese version of the game they were introduced in called them his servants/henchmen, for some reason when brought over the translators changed it to children. Since then however they have been trying to undo the confusion this caused.
