Great winterization video. Thank you for using our STA-BIL Storage fuel stabilizer. If anyone has any questions, please let us know and we are happy to help!
Solid video as always! I replaced the lines on one of my 94’s already. Wouldn’t mind a video to make sure I didn’t mess anything up 😂 keep up the great work!
Man. You guys are giving me the fever to go by a seadoo used jet ski. They are a dime a dozen here in Arkansas. Plus you guys tips and tricks have taught me a lot to what to look for and watch for. Thanks
What is the deal with RAVE valve (red colored bar) with no caps, is that a modification? My XP has stock caps that have been drilled to vent. Never seen that setup before.
@@masongress3364 yep that was a new one for me. Only thing I could think is it completely synchronizes the both raves at all times? Not sure if that would be better or not.
This was a fascinating video, I wish I could say my ski would survive, sadly it was submerged and as much as I tried to get the water out, it’s probably done for this winter. I’ll follow as much as I can but I did t see where you put antifreeze in the second fill? Also I didn’t see any place to squirt fogging oil into a airbox? A lot of the stuff you mentioned will have to be done in the spring! Thanks for the great video!
Loved the video. The peppermint dryer sheets are a great idea, gonna use that on all my toys. Wish you wee in Georgia so I could give you my 95 GTX business.
Excellent advice all the way around. Replace the oil filter , open the bleeder and bleed the air from the oil line, close the bleeder. Where is there a bleeder on a Bombardier two stroke oil pump?
Hydro locking only happens when the water is pressurized and running through the actual coolant induction hose. It fills the waterbox/exhaust and dumps it into the cylinders. The cylinders have cylinder drain backs that dump right at the outlet. All of this is explained in the video.
great info just bought a 97 gtx. I'm fixing up this winter. Do you have any videos on removing the lower intake grate under the ski? Mine is in rough shape and wanted to remove and repaint. Also would you be interested in rebuilding my carbs? I live in NWI
I would, if that garage gets to freezing it’s going to crack the jugs. You also shouldn’t have water from the river or lake sitting in it, it creates a calcium build up. Nasty stuff to say the least.
best channel for 90's ski's by far, keep up the great content guys!
Thank you!

Love you, glad we could help. Thank you for the nice comment and taking the time to write it. New video drops tonight, don't miss it!
Great info for somebody that just bought their first jet ski! Not a lot of information around on two-stroke these days thanks for taking the time.
Thank you for the positive comment. So glad we are helping you and the community
lets get a how to Video to replace the lines
Done deal
I'm glad I live in FL.
But as always very good information 👌 for all the snow birds 🐦
SOB 😂
This is the “while I’m in here” special. Lots of great information though!

Appreciate it, get one!
I’m in Arkansas to. I’ve bought several Seadoo’s for under 100$. The last one being a 97 gtx with a perfect running 787
Excellent, thorough Winterizing video. Thx for your effort and expertise putting it together.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Is pouring antifreeze in temp sensor same idea as removing hoses and pouring into inlet hose?
Those bars, seats, and no decals 😮💨
Might have to do that to one of mine
that was a great video. and perfect timing too I am winterizing the ski's this weekend.
Perfect! Glad we could help, thanks for the compliment.

Wondering same thing, looks like he doesn't have to deal with leaks there lol
@@masongress3364 yep that was a new one for me. Only thing I could think is it completely synchronizes the both raves at all times? Not sure if that would be better or not.

Any chance you have a how to video on bleeding the oil line after changing the filter?
I throw a giant desiccant packet in the engine bay. Keeps it bone dry. Great video, great info!
Great tip!

Thanks!
Can I just use a funnel and dump it into the hose? As opposed to using the pump.
No, you need pressure
Did you guys finish the RXX build 🤔 love the content guys
Videos coming next month.
Where did those handle and seat cover come from??? That’s clean asf!!
That is a UMI steering system. Long discontinued unfortunately. The seat cover is from jet trim
Excellent advice all the way around.
Replace the oil filter , open the bleeder and bleed the air from the oil line, close the bleeder.
Where is there a bleeder on a Bombardier two stroke oil pump?
Right in the from t below the small line fittings
Lots of great advice there. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Glad you found our channel useful
In many videos you mention a properly maintained oil injection system. Any videos that show good tips and oil line replacement etc. ??
Does all the 14oz of coolant gotta come out of the muffler from cylinder heads or just some
Just some
Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks Guys! Great list, and great video, as always!
Thanks!
I was told to not add water/coolant without it running u could hydrolock motor so why are we dumping coolant in the head I need help wintering mine

Great video, what is the model of 12v pump, and where did you get it? Thanks
The links to all products and tools used in this video are in the description
Great channel! Love the videos!! just wondering where you get those rave brackets ??
Those brackets were used for a short time in the 90's and really didn't do anything. Long discontinued item
What size hose did you cut for the pump
great info

We will have a website live with that service being offered
Have a 01 XP looking to restore when you have opening let me know
We only do videos to help the community, we don't take customer skis. The restoration is done by Nick with Jarman Powersports.
my starter solenoid failed so I just got a drill power pump and pump anti-freeze though the system.
That’s not a good idea. It forces liquid into the engine
@@TodayWeWrench well that was the point. So I can put anti-freeze so the engine won’t crack.
@@jeremyocampo1529the problem is it forces coolant into the engine and can actually fill it. Much like towing it without a clamp n the hose.
@@TodayWeWrench where does the clamp in the hose go?
Nice video man!
Thank you!
where do i get one of those manual trims!!!!
Long discontinued
If your machine is stored inside your home garage is this Winterization required ?
I would, if that garage gets to freezing it’s going to crack the jugs. You also shouldn’t have water from the river or lake sitting in it, it creates a calcium build up. Nasty stuff to say the least.
What handle bar set up is on this ski
Full UMI
Bad ass video thank you guys 🤘
Appreciate it!
Do you like um I parts
Yes
that was a lot , but the more you do it the more it becomes faster .
What's up with our Wet Wednesday video?
?
You guys ever use CorrosionX? It’s good stuff
We will look into it, thanks
