I’m going to buy one of these next week. It’s just the hall and it the 717 version it’s been sitting at least since 2008 it’s been on a junkyard. I took the motor out of it thinking I was gonna swap it into a Sea-Doo SP 580 by call the guy asking how much he would sell the hall for and he said $50-$100 Canadian
@@shannonwilliams601 yeah there a few things u can do. my bother and i own that skii w a 1200. dont trim it up. dont ride sitting down or w a passenger. ride standing up w both reef to the rear of skii. dont ride in a straight line. my 1200 has sponsons a slight turn or curve its straight and not bouncing. other than that trade it in on a vx ho or something that doesnt bounce / porpoise.
Great video! I appreciate the jetting tips as hopefully I’ll be getting some prok’s in the future. Now I just need to convince the ole lady I NEED these things lol.
just ordered the exhaust hard jet kit! i keep getting holes in the exhaust hose between the cone pipe and muffler. so i figure ill finally take the time to figure out wtf is doing that and upgrade from stock to this to help get more low end! as usual another awesome vid! probably the only guys that tell me about a product they are selling and i will be 100% percent confident in their claims!!
Appreciate the support. Product sales keep the channel going. Sounds to me like you have a water blockage somewhere. Get this for your new coupling replacement. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M0COFMP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 But make sure you blow out all your lines to make sure it dosnt keep happening. Now that you have a hard jet kit you will have an inline filter so you should be good. Just make sure you check that filter every ride like we said in the video and on our site product page
Hi, great video, this will work on a 99 gtx same engine? I now the pipe its difrent but i whant to now if i can put the water line like this? And also remove the rave valve?
Awesome video boys. I recently purchased a 96 and your videos have been invaluable. I wanted to grab some of your products but I’m in Australia and noticed there’s no international shipping option. Is this something you guys may consider in the future? I would love to enter the gsx draw too but understandably can’t being where I am 😢 keep up the great videos!
Great videos, lots of detailed info. I am looking at buying a Sea Doo XP, there is one for sale for $750 without trailer, it looks exactly like the yellow XP in this video. There is not much of a description of the one that is for sale. What is the model number of the one in the video?
Thanks for the jetting info. What do you think about accelerator pumps on the later Spx models? Does that change your jetting or pop off or do you prefer to remove the accelerator pump?
New to jetskis and a xp is all I need hope to win and love your videos anyway you can make videos on 1990-93 sea doo sp with the 587 engine would like to see what’s the most power we can get outta it !!🎉
Best thing to do is dump that thing and get one with a 787 or at least a 717. Anything smaller is way underpowered and you will never improve enough to warrant the spend.
It's a serviceable filter. All you do is unscrew the clear bowl, remove the stainless mesh filter and hose it out. Easy and can be done on the lake even
What are the pros and cons of boring out the steering nozzle. do you gain top speed but lose steering response. Does the lower back pressure change how much water is pushed through the cooling system.
You're not boring out the nozzle in this case, you are installing a smaller outlet. Stock is 96mm and our nozzle is 88. The benefit of having a 88 steering nozzle paired with the stock 85 Venturi is improved bottom end and you will gain a 1-1.5 mph. Also improves handling drastically
agree with the other comment. If you're just riding lakes and rivers leave the oil pump. Replace the filter, install new lines, bleed, and go. The maintenance is what causes a pump failure not the pump itself
No, you have to buy a ticket. We don’t have enough markup in our products to do a giveaway that way. If you buy a ticket and a turf bumper kit you get an additional ticket free
I’ve got a couple of old Seadoos. Most recent pick up is a 95 SPX for $200 with a trailer, no title. Had it running in no time, issue is the Vin tag is missing from the hull. Owner has title but hasn’t found yet, so I sell it for parts or is there any other vin location on the ski I’m missing?
@@TodayWeWrench there are no parts in Poland and it's hard for me to buy something, I love my XP and I love to improve it, please make shipping options to Poland, we love these skis here
I bought a repair manual off of EBay, they did not send me the one I ordered. They sent me one that covers 1988. Thru 1996 I think it’s shitty. Why do repair books/manuals not tell you the description of the part, screw hose, etc. if you look at any of the diagrams and then you look at the list next to the diagram, it just says hose or screw or whatever and it doesn’t tell you exactly what size the screw is what size the hoses or what type of hose it is and I don’t understand that I don’t understand why parts in a repair manual would not tell you exactly, you know what the screw is what size is it? Philip is it is it brass? Is it magnetic. Would it be so much easier if they listed exactly what parts I mean what if a part breaks that you’re in you’re taking it apart how will you know what screw to replace it with? You can’t go to your screw drawer in your shop and just keep pulling out handful of screws till you find what it fits, thank you
I bought 96 xp that was not running , so ive been watching you guys very closely as i work to get it water ready .
Awesome glad to help
Great content as always! Can't wait to start shopping for performance pieces!
Appreciate it, products are now live on our site todaywewrench.com
Thank you very much for sharing your settings when running ProKs. You mentioned 95gram springs, what pop off are you looking for with those springs?
wonderful skii, i was one of the first ppl to hit 62 on one of those in 97. i weighed 135 pounds in hi school back then.

It's a serviceable filter. All you do is unscrew the clear bowl, remove the stainless mesh filter and hose it out. Easy and can be done on the lake even
Maybe I missed it, but are you guys going to finish building the Sea doo HX?
When Jarman has time one day
Can you send a link to purchase these products and would you cut a deal for the purchase of the exhaust water jet kit and the pump nozzle?

Does anyone remove the oil tank and mix there own like you would on an ATV. Pros-cons?
Usually the oil system on these doesn't fail often but if you don't have an issue with mixing you can delete it

Some of them have them under the gas tank. Pretty annoying to get to…
all skis have a secondary tag under the fuel cell
Any chance in the future you guys making your own hydronic vts systems they just seem so expensive
No and for the reason you just mentioned. They are expensive to make and not many butts for that seat.
